  1. Gibbs coached in a very different NFL. I think he'd find that particular approach difficult in today's game.
  2. Rhule says Dennis Daley will start at left guard in place of Elflein this week https://twitter.com/WilliePStyle/status/1439986364326481928?s=19
  3. No choice. Since we signed Gonzalez off the Lions practice squad, he has to stay on the active roster for three weeks.
  4. "Any man can stand adversity — only a great man can stand prosperity." We've seen Rhule handle adversity. We have no idea how he or his teams handle prosperity. One game at at time.
  5. If Darnold doesn't make the one mistake he made all day, we probably win 35-0 too.
  6. This ain't college football. Ratings mean squat. Rack up enough Ws early to back our way into a WC spot because that last quarter of the schedule is brutally hard.
  7. This was one of my favorite plays yesterday. Terron Armstead is a really good LT, but he's lining up with Chinn and Burns over him and trying to decide who to block and ends up blocking no one. Loved it.
  8. I enjoy Matthew Berry and their Fantasy Football stuff but that's about it outside of the games.
  9. Said it elsewhere, but the Panthers team that played the 1st half against the Jets will beat the Saints. The Panthers team that played the 2nd half will not.
  10. Rhule punted from the opponent's 33 on Sunday...
  11. If Sewell plays well at LT, there's a chance the Lions may try to trade Taylor Decker at the trade deadline. Decker is 28 years old, and a top 15ish LT?
  12. The Panthers team that played the 1st half Sunday will beat the Saints. The Panthers team that played the 2nd half Sunday will not beat the Saints.
  13. It would be treated as if the players in the forfeit game had an extra 'bye' week for the purposes of fantasy football. Put them on your bench, or take the goose egg.
  14. Would this be a bad time to mention Trey Smith started on Sunday for the Chiefs?
  15. Monday Nov 13, 2006 Steve Smith received 35% of the targets (8 receptions on 12 targets. Jake threw 34 passes.) Waller received 34% last night (33.9% to be precise). So you're trying to tell me a 35% target share IS force feeding but a 34% target share isn't.
  16. RBs and TEs are different positions. Of course an RB is going to have more total touches than a TE. That wasn't the question. You seem to reject the idea that giving one receiver 33% of the targets is "force feeding that player". I simply disagree.
  17. Also from the Monday night game, Baltimore's rookie (Ty'Son Williams) missed a blitz pick-up that led to Lamar's fumble that gave LV the ball for their game winning drive.
  18. You asked: Did either team force feed one offensive skill player? I showed you one team threw 1/3 of their passes to one player. I would say that makes a strong case that they were force feeding that player.
  19. I prefer IDP leagues instead of DST leagues.
  20. So can't remember the poster, but someone had put out the idea that RBs really fall off after 1800 touches in their career. CMC is at 1032 (including Week 1 2021). At 300 touches/year, he should have 2 -3 more good years. RB career touches Includes Week 1 2021 Zeke - 1667 Melvin Gordon - 1544 Derrick Henry - 1280 CMC - 1032 Kamara - 1021 Cook - 943 Carson - 835 Aaron Jones - 789 Chubb - 769 Saquon - 657
  21. They've got a huge TE/WR named Juwan Johnson. 6'4", 230+ pounds. Snow better have Horn shadowing this guy in the red zone. If they get him matched up on DJ, it'll be six.
  22. Seems like both Dan Arnold and Terrace Marshall were acquired/drafted to run that type of play. Also why was the end zone pass to Thomas not to Dan Arnold. Arnold is much better receiver than Thomas. Not saying he would have caught it, but if you made put money on one TE on our roster to make a circus catch, it's Dan Arnold.
