  1. It’s the vocal keyboard minority I believe. Just accumulating the negative.
  2. Game comes down to the QB that makes the fewest mistakes and our beloved Rookie will not be rattled dammit! 27-20 is my pick.
  3. I feel good about the team and will feel better if they win Sunday. They will still have a lot to prove though. I can’t go into game one miserable. Still 16 more to go.
  4. Yep. This sums it up nicely. I know people talk about honor and morals but at the end of the day it’s about maximizing wealth.
  5. Scarcity is a real thing and whether you like it or not there is a premium on pass rushers. He will get a large sum and people will complain but it’s just the nature of the business. Good for BB.
  6. We will never know but I think fitt got hired he read the room, saw the train wreck and went with it. Probably didn’t sabotage rhule but simply let Rhule hang himself. that said I don’t know how much I blame fitt for draft picks but am willing to give him benefit of the doubt
  7. Pretty accurate. He should Take the 200k PS position, work and hope for the best. There are worse things in life than being in your 20s and making that kind of bank.
  8. Now that bumper pool is gone we need to fill the void. Not sayin cool names are a position of need, just sayin.
  9. I see this thread and wonder if I missed half the football season. It seems like only yesterday we were debating rational things from the preseason such as Ickey being a bust and black balling linemen from NC A&T.
  10. You think whipping out a quick list of JAGs is gonna change minds or something???
  11. I think many of the yards gained by S Brown were against sub par talent. Preseason stats are not in and of themselves a way to fully evaluate talent. Bumper Pool was in on a lot of tackles and I believe Coral was the most productive passer to put it in some context.
  12. There is a lot of disdain for Hubbard. He has the albatross of being "Rhule's wife's draftpick" and I think that is in the back of our mind's when evaluating. He is not great but is quite serviceable and what he does. From an eyeball test, he probably needs to improve in many areas but he is a solid runner. If the coaches can do better with other team's castoffs then fine.
  13. For sure there will be growing pains. But one thing I’m hopeful for is that the learning curve is not as steep compared to other rookies. There were a couple plays where Bryce threw the ball away or into the turf because it was going nowhere. They will never make a highlight reel but those are good plays. For a rookie he he is poised and patient
  14. I think both of these guys showed had some high level flashes peppered in. YGM hasn’t done that much to give me much confidence he will breakout. If he stays in the roster I will hope for the best and pull for him. If not I wish him the best of luck elsewhere. But it appears to be an uphill battle for him at the moment.
  15. I was keen on watching Zavala last week but actually forgot to pay attention last night. Didn’t hear much about him which is a good thing. It’s a small sample size but he seems to be coming to work and doing his job which is a good trait for an Offensive lineman.
  16. My mind wondered about this for a moment last night. Thanks for looking this up. Nice to see kids of former players I watched when I was younger. But damn it makes me feel old.
  17. Corral looked like a development project playing in his third game. That said, he is still a development project.
