Also gave Wilks some time to evaluate from an HC perspective. If they had done that last week with the game plan as it was, and we had gotten our doors blown off it could’ve been perceived as chaos. I don’t know and will probably never know but I think this was the right call.

Well, if he watched the game and saw what was going on I suspect he had a revelation that he sucks as an NFL coach. After that, if he looked at the guaranteed money left on that contract, I suspect he was able to come to terms with his failure.

No. I think people see us trade CMC and see that as we are setting the team up to lose. I think trading CMC is the team acknowledging that they are not setup to win. Hell, they were barely competitive with the superstar RB. Like the year before Cam, we are just that horrible.

Agreed, but I would love to see him become a capable backup. The bright side is, he was getting garbage reps from a garbage OC. That said, maybe he is more talented than what we saw. But even if he has something more, I doubt he is the guy.

I like Eastman more than any other QB on our Roster. Dude just got up from the P squad and throwing darts. Granted this one was a dart to the other team but hell, lets go. Eastman or bust!

I didnt really expect too much today from PJ. Not going to trash a 3rd string QB for being a 3rd string QB. Plus I think Wilks is playing extremely conservative and trying to concentrate on the basics. No one likes it but it might be what the team needs to steady the ship.
