"You can't judge somebody based off of sacks"
L-TownCat replied to Icege's topic in Carolina Panthers
We made one poo his pants. -
I selected Daley by process of elimination. I think BC plays one guard spot or the other. I dont think Ervins health will hold, Little is trash. Moton plays RT. Now, Brady could straight up earn the LT spot. It just not that likely. So again we're left with DD.

How much of the Jets performance was really on Darnold?
L-TownCat replied to SBBlue's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don’t think it would be necessarily a good thing if they were. That would most likely mean poor play or injury ahead of them. I hope a group emerges and solidifies in camp. Then pray they can stay healthy. -
What Was The Panthers Worst Move This Off Season/

Good call. I’m a little guilty of just pretending that stuff isn’t happening. I miss #1… -
What Was The Panthers Worst Move This Off Season/

I still think this dude is 6th man. First off the bench, can perform spot duty at multiple positions. Can even start a game or two when needed. Injuries make him a better part time player than full. Our worst move is the one we didn’t/couldn’t make. LT being such a question going into camp having a new QB with Post Traumatic Sack Disorder is not, ideal. -

By all means, make it a thread if ya like. I dont do that very often. The Jets didn't have enough time to David Carr, Sam. He would have been shaky those first years anyway given his age. The kid has the tools he was just surrounded by poo. literal piles of poo. Think about going to work everyday to a job youre good at. Now imagine working for a boss that knows less than you telling you what to do and he wants you to do it with tools that aren't right for the job. Now imagine getting transferred to another branch where your boss is knowledgeable and looks to get you the best tools with which to perform at the highest level possible. Improvement can be expected, right? It should be. -
Back from vacation, talk to me about your training camp interests.

I’m hoping for good things from these joint practices. I think the “live” reps with no fear of contact could really boost his confidence seeing CMC/Moore/Anderson/Arnold making plays. -

It’s all about the QB this year. Can they protect him, and can he get it done? Not really training camp stuff, but those are the only real questions I got. -

Found this older video on Sam. I cant shake the feeling we stole a quality starting QB. Like, stole. -

It took Tannehill a bit to shake off the Gase. But once he found his spot in Nashville, he aint looked back. I dont expect Darnold to carve up defenses and win shootouts against KC, what I expect is more than what we had before. To get better. Thats it. To what degree is why we watch the games. -
I sincerely doubt we put together a worse line for Sam than he’s already had. Even if the two are equal he still has a better cast around him. He actually performs better while improvising. Lots of reasons to be hopeful, until there isn’t.

Panthers Bars/Spots in Winston Salem?
L-TownCat replied to Move the Panthers to Raleigh's topic in Carolina Panthers
Depending on traffic you can get to Charlotte in about 75 minutes. I’m not saying make the trip but it takes me about 40-45 min to get there and there’s no shortage of pro-Panther establishments. -
Which real life human person do you think believes Jaycee is Jesus in pads? We have practice and game videos on the guy. All that can be said is how he “looks”. But, yeah, this place totally needs to be told Jaycee hasn’t played in the NFL yet. We all thought it was Revis in disguise….

Nor should we. Personal Medical info is still protected, for now. -

Timmy B was an injury bust more than production. When he played the kid could play. His knees just couldn’t take it. (Sad face/pets rookie card)

I remember Sweat being the talk of the town for a minute. Don’t think I was on board but I can’t remember that far back.

How rookie Chuba Hubbard could perfect the Panthers' backfield
L-TownCat replied to SBBlue's topic in Carolina Panthers
Can we really hit on ALL these rookies? By “all” I’m referring to first 3 rounds and Chuba. I’ll buy a Fitterer jersey, No… I’ll get a Fitts tattoo, if Horn, Marshall, Christensen, Tommy-knocker and Chubba all become meaningful contributors/starters for this team. -
