  1. Did Richardson call down to the field and tell Ron to manage the clock like he forgot how to football?
  2. Gotta admit it’s a damn miracle he managed to not win a trophy with a league MVP QB and the best MLB in the game. Most teams never have one of those and we had both.
  3. They used to have a whole segment on TV called “Moss’d”. It was every DB that got postered. “You got Moss’d”
  4. This. The Jets experience as a whole over the last 3 years has been egregious. The few bright spots they had were big plays made by an improvising Darnold. I’ve watched the good plays and the bad ones. I just don’t see a problem outside he was a Jet for 3 years.
  5. Ok that helps. Im stuck in the mindset of the Tampa-2. I mean if Chinn can be Ed Reed then great but to me he feels more like Brian Dawkins. (In my limited viewing) Im with you tho, I don’t care as long as it works.
  6. Oh yeah, I don’t want to throw a pity party for him. Hes gonna be fine I’m sure. He’ll move back to WV and sell real estate or coach a private HS team. I’m not worried for his future.
  7. Grier is another victim of Hurney’s idiocy. Poor guy never had a shot. Hasn’t performed well enough to earn one either. The game is fast. Really fast. He’s a good kid and probably a steady presence in the QB room. That is the extent of his ability to impact this team. Cheerleader with a clip board.
  8. 8-9 or 9-8? 17 games. .500 is no longer possible. It’s either a winning season or a losing one. Thanks for the recap!
  9. @Mr. Scot Can you explain (if possible) The FS/SS responsibilities in our defense? Are they interchangeable? I can’t figure out why they want Chinn at FS. Traditionally the FS is the center fielder/ball hawk, no?
  10. This we agree on. I see where you’re coming from. Sam ain’t what most of us wanted or even considered. But now that it’s him, we can either watch and hope he shows improvement, or cross arms and wait for him to screw up. One way seems more enjoyable than the other. Jus sayin.
  11. I hate building in excuses but a 4th year player should be 25-26 not 23. Its crazy how young he really is. I believe Joe Burrow is older than Sam. The cognitive development between 20-25 is substantial. He still has time to "get it".
  12. What a terrible comparison. Breaking a contract with the bank will usually leave you homeless with no credit. Breaking an NFL contract usually means you get to buy real estate in a new town.
  13. Ive witnessed wether live on TV or in person every one of those big games. I'm familiar with the refs, I just usually dont go back and watch our "iconic" games b/c we won and I like my memories. I went back to this one b/c I was 13 and my memory aint what it used to be.
  14. Its understandable to overlook dump off options NOT named CMC.
  15. Youre right in that it doesn't matter to the team. They'd much rather have a sweep. Bad officiating is extending series. Benefits somebody.
  16. I doubt getting called out bothered them. Game 3 gave Nashville a home win in front of their crowd, it means Carolina wont advance in Nashville and will most likely get to celebrate at home. Thats just good TV scheduling bud.
  17. I watched the full broadcast again and, wow. The no-calls in this game are questionable to say the least. Any way, it was a fun watch, if it even shows on here?
  18. I'll tell you who wont play fair no matter what and he resides in Foxboro.
  19. More than likely. I'm just not familiar with this FO enough yet to guess how they will manage their "hidden gems".
  20. Agreed. I can still recall Belichick poaching our draft pick. Also a full back I think?
  21. If they are high on them will they risk waivers?
  22. Pretty much. It will put a hell of a decision on the LB's.
  23. The RB room is loaded. The only thing we should look at here is how well they’re going to do. CMC will not just cut his touches. He wants the ball. I don’t see him being on the sidelines very often. The object may be to create options with him ON the field rather than options to sub him out? TT and CH will make Christians life a lot easier. Even with the same touches, the defense will not be able to focus on CMC with the same attention as before. More blocking, better QB play (hopefully) a more varied and open playbook, Christian could end up being more productive with less wear on the same touches. Spread out the Defense, and watch Christian do magic in the open field.
  24. It is what it is? He picked a bad day to have a bad day. Or some other word salad nonsense he would trot out on Mondays. Oh, did he admit mistakes? Ummm, no. Not one that I recall.
