The evolution to being a perennial winner.
L-TownCat replied to musicman's topic in Carolina Panthers
Great post. 1 question. When we have 40-50+ year history, are we gonna complain that we don’t have 75-100 year history like other teams? We can’t catch up. -

How athletic IS Deonte Brown? aka Corn Bread/Big Bread
L-TownCat replied to blueandblackattack's topic in Carolina Panthers
A man that size could be holding 30lbs of water weight. Hell, a good colon flush and he could lose 10-15. -
How athletic IS Deonte Brown? aka Corn Bread/Big Bread

So David Moore showed up at 320, and Big Bread here showed up at 347? Uh-huh.... ummm, Christian? Buddy, If you dont run for 2500 yards that's on you little feller. -
Imagine trying to find him behind that right side.

That’s very good news.

Early morning Sax, is the best sax. amirite??

Its not that the article is loaded with lies and totally made up non-sense. Its that the observations are so superficial and insufficiently fleshed out. Stated Teddy is a stop gap. Stop gap to what? Do stop gaps have strong SB winning traditions? Not a single mention of how that was a Marty contract and a bad one. New GM, New QB. Simple. Said Curtis is gone so no weapons for Sam. Dafuq you say? Robby, DJ, and CMC alone are better than anything Sam ever had in NY. The line issues have been around for a decade so yeah, we all see that one. Way to dig deep Bleach. Its the same lazy reporting on this team some of us have lamented for decades. Its why Person and Newton are given so much poo. They have jobs people would kill for and they put less effort in it than I do folding a fitted sheet.

Draft Analysis: "A massive value-destroying error"?

Flawless Victory. Finish Him. -
By the time I finished the blurb my head had cocked so far to one side I looked like a confused dog. Then I saw the the link and relief washed over me.

I read that whole article for the payoff to be, "If you want to have an informed opinion, watch the games."

This is probably the most fair take on Jake Delhomme I've seen to date.
-
I'm not so sure that if it had been a normal process he wasn't a low 1 to mid-2 guy. You're right his pass-pro looks really good at that level.
-
That should be at least slightly true given the inherent competitiveness of the sport. I too hope its gonna be fuel to light a fire under his ass to be the 1st round pick he was supposed to be all along. That means CAR is winning more than it's losing this year.
-
At least 2-2 or there is gonna be a lot of panic.
-
The scheduling, if true, could be an over site. It could also have been a necessity? If the 2-min offense and redzone issues persist, we’ll have real concern on our hands.
-
We never stop learning.

You're not seeing the whole concept. The DB falls over and wiggles on the ground. Thats why the WR gets to chose his route. Perfect design. 6 every time.
-
They're level-headed because they are used to getting a ring every few years. Them days are over.

Id like to see at least 1 series in pre season before guessing, but I like the exercise. I would expect a run heavy/conservative start. So Sam can get comfortable. I think they minimize the chances for mistakes, lean on CMC and the RAC ability of these receivers. He should have about 250 yards (or more if they hit a big play). 1 maybe 2 passing TDs (again if they hit a big play) CMC goes bananas in his return in front of the home crowd. The defense flashes its potential and win by 2 scores. Let it begin.

The movies always had that campy feel. The 80's were rife with horror/comedy tacky one-liners and jump scares.
