I understand the desire to see Chinn as a Captain. From listening to player interviews, and reading quotes Chinn appears to be a more reserved personality akin to DJ Moore. I keep hearing and reading that Woods has become the communicator on the back end, getting guys to their spots. This is why I see Woods getting the C over Chinn.

The thing that made NOLA dangerous was the HOF QB/Coach combo. Neither of which are there. Weve seen talented rosters with questionable QB/Coach and the word wasn’t “loaded”.

We have to: A: look competent in all phases B: stay competitive C. Win D. make playoffs E: Win a game(s).

That could work both ways. With a QB looking to move the ball, our D will get to rest more this year. Fewer 3&outs and short fields should help this Defense. Fewer shorter fields will also shine a little light on that 2nd in yards allowed last year.

I remember the teams more than the coaches, but it was another 1k yard rusher every season. Dudes they grabbed up at the Y were cutting cartwheels thru massive lanes. It was so different compared to our 3 yds and a cloud of dust mentality at the time.

As long as CMC is a full participant, he is the best player on the field with very few exceptions. Its almost not fair to have him as a house-call run threat, pro-bowl receiving threat, and then if the play call doesn’t pan out, he’s the ultimate check down threat. He plays, we’re different. He’s different.

If anybody knows about cut blocking it’s a Mike Shanahan offensive lineman. Those teams could run against a brick wall and gain 7 on 1st down.

If you’re talking about the block on Von Miller, those are illegal now, I believe.
