    For added context on how close you really are, My 10 year old son who only just started watching football/playing madden said, “on 4th down they should just throw it deep”. I was about to explain why that would never work and the panthers took the words right out of my mouth. I just pointed at the TV. ”That’s why we don’t do that.”

    We’re going to put a rookie behind this line? In a draft where we have 1 decent pick? We have zero positions filled on the line. Plug a vet back there until the line is fixed then pop on a rookie QB.

    Its not so much they are doing it TO us, they're just using the small markets to boost the big ones. Baseball did it 1st, then the Jordan era NBA, and now the NFL is not even really hiding it anymore.

    In a league where everyone is a specialist, it is disheartening to see players being used outside their natural position.

    I’m not arguing he played well. Obviously that didn’t happen. What I’m suggesting is maybe our illustrious coaching staff didn’t need to put DJ on Terry 1v1? And when they doubled Terry they used Shaq and Chinn? If they picked on DJ it’s because Rivera knew of a weakness that our staff is apparently oblivious to because they never figured it out.

    I was afraid I’d disagree with this post. Avoided it for a while. Now that I’m here, yep. Nailed it Diddy. Cam did more than enough to win and Rhule fugged it up.
