honestly i have no idea what or how to fix this mess so that we finish up well this year and/or have a respectable year next year. and i don't know that anyone in that FO does either. for all the centuries of experience this coaching staff has, they're acting like all their experience was coaching JV football. and i don't think a one of these guys in the FO knows how to correct what went wrong or if they can even figure out what went wrong or where they went wrong. all we're going to see the next couple years is desperate reactions to bad decisions. i have no faith whatsoever in this franchise and i'm never going to believe any word that they have it figured out until i see us winning. every decision and acquisition they make is going to have me going... "you think this will work? "

It would be weird if they weren't there and ther would be a whole lot of controversy if they weren't. It shouldn't be an issue unless you just want there to be one somewhere and need something else in your life to be bothered by.

You know what's worse than having the worst record in the league? Having the worst record in the league and no first round pick. That's the path we're on. Decimated defense kind of helps make that happen.

i agree that their window is closing/has closed. they had their chances over the past few years and they couldn't get it done. history shows that a team set up like that, if they haven't won a superbowl by now with that HC/QB combo, they won't. that said, i'd rather have had a window than the ha-ha wall we've had in our way for the past 7-8 years.

i honestly don't expect anything. i would like to see competence. i would like to see improvement. i would like to see wins. i expect none of it.

I'm starting to think that Reich is just to controlled/controlling a personality, much like Rhule was. They both have the result of keeping everything under control and end up suppressing personality. Rhule was by design. Reich is by nature. I like Reich, but he's holding the team back. And having so many old school characters around us having that effect. Reich needs to go. Caldwell needs to go. Capers needs to go. And that other dinosaur that we aren't supposed to know about who is back wandering around the halls and advising the FO needs to go as well. Just like with DC, it's time for the old guys to move on and the young blood take over.
