Mayock's 2014 NFL Draft Eve Mock

Recommended Posts

I will be pissed if we trade our 1st for anything other than a 2nd or 3rd round pick.

Fug hell no to a 4th and a 6th.

Then be prepared to be pissed.

I think a trade down is a very good possibility....and trading down about 8-10 spots would not garner you a high 3rd.  The value chart puts the 4th and 6th at comparable value.

Now, if someone is in love with one of the QB's then there might be a slight chance to rape them for more....but, don't count on it.

Min & Cle have 2 third rounders and have trade possibilities close to equal according to draft trade value ( if that still has value). Here are some options that I like better than Oakland's 4 & 6.

Cle 2.8 & 3.19

Stl 2.12 & 3.11

Hou 2.1 & 4.1

Min 2.8 & 3.8

Way to much hype around this kid..

Lol if you think after the draft is the last time you'll hear about him.

I know it is a nightmare that will never end just like The Golden Calf of Bristol until he is run out of the league.

I love when people bring up made up charts and use them as proof. Any GM worth his salt does not rely on any chart for a trade.

Didn't the Raiders trade their sixth round pick to the Texans for Matt Schaub?

So essentially, #36 + #107 + whatever their position they draft in 2015 = our #28 pick. I'm not against trading down, but I'd rather have their #36 + #67 picks, or try and make a deal with the Jaguars.

I could definitely see Houston trading up. Getting a QB in round 1 would give them that 5th year option, something a 2nd rounder doesn't offer. Plus we only move back 5 spots and have the very first pick in Round 4. Love it.
