Coleman

I don't know if I'm thinking logically here I just love the idea.. Say we don't draft a WR in the second or third, what about taking Brandon Coleman in the late 4th? Cam needs big targets and personally I think a trio of Olsen 6'5 Benjamin 6'5 and Coleman 6'6 would be deadly. On the other hand I don't like taking a prospect that is so much like Benjamin. We could get the same threat with Austin Seferian-Jenkins but I doubt we wait until the third to draft an OT.

So, long story short would you rather add a target even bigger than Benjamin or draft a Kevin Norwood or Jared Abbrederis in the later rounds?

For now i am good with my first draft (before the combine, the second of the list)

As you see i would love Coleman but Coleman is not a second round.

The more i see my very first draft the more i love it.

I don't mind taking the chance on him if he falls to the 5th round. He has a low vertical, injury history and is raw but has shown flashes that he could be special. I honestly he is going to be a bust.

Oh, you know it has been at the back of my mind...

Let's not forget that Underwood isn't slow, so it's not like we don't have someone already on the roster who can take the tops off defenses.

King too

    • Care to elaborate why you disagree? We kicked the ball off 3 times and we kept the Browns to starting field position of the 22, 27, and 10 (would have been 21 before a penalty). All 3 of those are successes with the modern kickoff rule.
    • Its August so obviously quality options are not there. The question is whether any improvement can be made to the bottom of the depth chart.
    • NFL has a huge amount of parity.  The talent level between most NFL starters outside of the top 5 to 10 guys at a position is very comparable.  2020 worst teams Jacksonville Jaguars - 1-15 (worst record in NFL) New York Jets - 2-14 Cincinnati Bengals - 4-11-1 Atlanta Falcons - 4-12 Houston Texans - 4-12 Carolina Panthers - 5-11 Detroit Lions - 5-11 Philadelphia Eagles - 4-11-1 Los Angeles Chargers - 7-9 Denver Broncos - 5-11 2024 Worst teams New York Giants - 3-14 (tied for worst) Cleveland Browns - 3-14 (tied for worst) Tennessee Titans - 3-14 (tied for worst) New England Patriots - 4-13 Carolina Panthers - 5-12 Jacksonville Jaguars - 4-13 Las Vegas Raiders - 4-13 New York Jets - 5-12 Chicago Bears - 5-12 Arizona Cardinals - 8-9 Bengals, Texans, Lions, Eagles, Broncos and the Jags have all made the the playoffs in the last 3 years. What I'm saying is it's stupid to argue when team is the worst when there is so much parity and the system allows quick turnarounds.
