So MS just announced Halo 5: Guardians and showed off some possible cover art:

That being said, some Halo purists will decry the continue pillaging of a game they adore.  Others who hate Halo for being Halo will continue to do so.  Then there are the weird people like me (and many others I assume since they keep making Halo games) that love the Halo universe, story and gameplay.  Yep, I'm a strange fish all right.

So, There's a female spartan with a battle rifle on the top image while the Chief is mirrored below.  Considering the blue glow from her visor...is this Cortana?  Hrm...  Who knows?

Some of y'all will have even more cool stuff I'm sure.  Or others of you will take the chance to say I'm such a moron for liking Halo past CE (or Marathon if you're a hipster =P).

Love you guys!

I hate Halo because it's a recycled piece of poo. Not because of the hype it receives or because it's "Halo". The game has been garbage since Halo 2. Like all the games in the franchise I'll give Halo 5 a chance. If it's good I'll play it, if it follows the downward trend the series has been on since it debuted on the 360 I won't. Simple as that.

Truthfully, the only game I really played out of the franchise and loved it was the first Halo. We would link up our xboxs and put them on different tvs. Blood Gulch was one of our favorite boards in multiplayer. The other installments really never caught my eye. I didn't care too much for them.

Hasn't been good since h3 with h2 being the best out of them. That being said I will get and play the hell out of this. Hopefully they cut down on the call of duty style game play even though it is designed to help the casual player not get rocked by the skilled ones

I guess I'm one of the few who didn't particularly enjoy H2. I guess its just because I don't play Halo for the MP, I love playing the campaign. I can't wait for this to come out, any word on the Halo tv series that was supposed to be on the XBone?

Halo2 really shined on Xbox live. That is what makes it the best of the series

    • Bryce has been in the NFL 3 years and still looks like a very mediocre QB. Most games are nothing but mediocre plays with a highlight reel every now and then.  He is a very INCONSISTENT QB and it’s very fustrating. He does not deserve a 5th year option, even though the Panthers and all the dumb asses in the front office will give it to him.
    • I’ve rarely ever been more sure of anything than losing out — but how can anyone say with a straight face “Bryce hasn’t improved, but Canales has and he’s masks his flaws”. You have to be so out of touch with reality to put one way above the other when discussing those two.
    • Last night was the classic example of a visiting team just holding on through the wave of emotion a home team has at the start of a big time game. Bama’s first two kickoff returns really set them back as far as playcalling and allowed OU to dictate field position. The emotion of the home crowd fed into what OU was doing at that point, and it felt like Bama would not be able to overcome that.     Once the kickoff returner was told to fair catch every kick, the game shifted, as Bama wasn’t starting each drive inside their own 15. It was then that Bama was able to make some plays, outscoring OU 34-7 the rest of the way.  I think the last 3/4 of the game proves Bama was the better team. OU was just able to ride the initial wave of emotion to a big lead, but Bama held on just enough.  However, had OU blocked the punt on Bama’s second drive and scored a TD (vice a FG on the ensuing drive), things likely would have been different.  Anyway, Roll Tide!
