The Saints are hosting 38 players for tryouts this weekend during their minicamp that runs through Sunday, according to the New Orleans Times-Pacayune.

Veteran DE Jamaal Anderson, WR Armanti Edwards, C Samson Satele and QB Rusty Smith are among the most notable players trying out for the team.

He's going to tell all our secrets!! But seriously, I wish him the best.  He always seemed like he was trying his hardest, despite little to no production.  It's not his fault Hurney was completely boneheaded about trading up to draft him early, if he had been drafted in the 6th or 7th like he should have been, would have been under much less fire, and maybe stuck around as a 5th WR.

actually armanti could get a job with that 4 year degree that took him 3 years to complete.

Yea. I guess he could.

After all, I have seen guys who went to college for four years, obtained a degree in business, and are in debt up to their eyeballs, just to work minimum wage at Kroger.

    • i presented this in another thread. he throws better to the out breaking routes the wr run, but almost nothing to the inside. that is half the options on a wr route tree. How do you run an offense like that?  even the outbreaking routes he throws are moonballs, that allow the DBs to catch up unless the wr is wide open. he has to throw with a lot of anticipation becuase he doesnt have the arm strenght to get it there if he is a little late. thats probably why you see balls behind the wrs.
