I am pretty (99%) sure I saw numerous posters saying he would do better at LT due to him being x handed and due to the fact he can not do any worse. Maybe If I get the urge or time I will go back in search for those posts.

You are confusing close mindedness with being realistic and concerned. Two different things.

99% of the time you don't post everyone leaves with a smile after visiting this forum.

Well we did have a choice... it was called the NFLdraft..... but apparently DE was much more pressing need.

our current GM doesn't draft for immediate need, he probably sees further into the future than any of us.  not saying i agree, just telling it like it is.

lol if this was true, he woudln't have signed Hardy , would have picked up 2 more legitimate offseason pick ups, and then drafted Ealy in 2nd round.  No one can see into the future, they can only guess on things that will remain the same.

you may have taken that too literal, but i was talking strictly football, not players personal issues.

    • right or wrong but by all accounts baker was a complete immature ass that his teammates hated in Cleveland. I dont think it was ever about talent but simply him being an ass and the team was not that far removed from Johnny m and they had a chance at Watson they decided to cut the cord.   So to me it looks like baker got humbled, matured, got married and alas here we are
    • He hurt his thumb on that first drive I thought? I knew he was going to be bad but it was still shocking. His head wasn't great in preseason either. He just looked really bad last year after his first game. Worse than the year before. It has been obvious he was aging out fast but the mental side is some Panther level BS. How do you see that as a coach and go 'let's get him signed for another 2 years' or in preseason and not saying 'umm Plumber isn't going to be enough with Dalton looking retired already'?
    • Coach said Cade and Princely are likely to be out this is tough
