Manziel Not Impressing

But Cam showed flash with his rocket arm and 4.59 speed. Struggle is fine but when a 1st rounder(who was traded for) struggle and don't show some kind of flash then it's a problem.

Wrong again.

At some point I'm hoping you'll learn that things don't come true just because you want them to be true.

It takes just a couple of shots and dribble to determine that the dude in the full laker jersey is a scrub and not to pick him in a pick up basketball game. Professionals who plays the sport know a scrub when they see them. That first impression.

I literally lol'd, okay, whose alt account is this?

That's not true. The huddle wasn't pro Cam during the draft process. Stop using Cam as a Martyr. Cam's issues had a lot to do with race. Manziel doesn't have that problem.

A lot of Cam's issues have to do with the fans, not Cam himself.

It's ridiculous how they're treating this kid. They draft a dude that's obviously going to bring media attention and they try to completely take that away and smother the kid. It's like marrying a stripper and expecting her to be a loyal house wife, jus not gonna happen

I would hate to be Hoyer to be honest.  Kid came in a played very well last year before his injury and the brass of this team seems to be so emotion based, that he has to be worried that nothing he does will stand up to the hype/emotion pick at 22.

He now has nobody to throw to and the fans will be yelling for Manziel from the start.  Bullseye on his back

    • Exactly.  You let him play out next season and continue to develop Thorton.  Jackson’s earned his next contract, but his age and the risk of tying up such a large portion of the payroll at one position leads me to believe that we’ll let him walk. In all likelihood, we’ll draft another CB, or two, and bring in some journeymen to fill the roster void, between now and the start of the 2027 season.  That’ll create more balance financially across the roster enabling us to invest in other areas.
    • As far as the NFCS … I think this division will be hotly contested the next couple of years.   I am tending to pay more respect to both Atlanta and the Saints n terms of how strong they will be moving forward, than not.    I am mixed on Ryan but think they have a decent roster to start with. I don’t think he blundered hiring Stefanski. And that offense can be dangerous with a QB. Plus, defense is arrow up. No 1st round pick, WB issues will dull their effectiveness. Question is, to what degree?   I think Moore is going to be a good HC and can overcome tape that people have on Shough. They need a lot but they were playing with people. Just the way you want to see all the way to the end.    Not sure about Tampa they have Mayfield but I don’t think they can maintain their success and Bowles is not going to last much longer. They have to go through all that. Gonna be tough once it starts. Might already have started.    For us I feel pretty good about Morgan. But less so about our offense, we have some short term RB and OL issues and those things are critical given what we are working with at QB.  Overall, mixed. Like a lot of what I see but some major question marks remain.
    • Absolutely. If we are talking about a 20 year old youngster. He's a grown-ass man, and he doesn't know what his job entails or how to do it? Maybe he will be better next year! It's the Panther way.
