Lies, damn lies, and statistics. Stats can help paint the picture, but when you rely on them and treat them as the entire truth, well you end up with rankings like those. Stats can easily be manipulated and be used to mislead. Break down enough categories and sooner or later you'll find a scenario where EJ Manuel is the best QB in the league. Is he really? Hell no, but that's what the stats will tell you.

Harper is not a good safety and i agree with his ranking, now if the man is a minimum proud maybe he can do something but he will have to work alot during and even before the camps.

but this..

is unacceptable for a NFL safety.

2. San Francisco 49ers

The Seahawks are pushed hard by their divisional rivals for the best 53-man roster in football. The 49ers' roster is so good that the team has begun essentially redshirting players in the draft, with Marcus Lattimore a year ago and Brandon Thomas this season sitting out their first year on injured reserve. Their receiving corps was an issue in 2013, but it has been remade in the offseason, and with Michael Crabtree fully recovered from his injury, it should be a strength this year.

In the same way that they have been taking chances on talent in the draft, the Niners have been able to take shots at talented players with checkered histories in free agency, and traded for Blaine Gabbert in the hope a new surrounding can uncover why he was a first-round draft pick just a few years ago. Former Vikings second-round pick Chris Cook -- signed this offseason -- also fits that description. The only thing separating them and the Seahawks is some question marks in the defensive secondary, where they are counting on young players to take a step forward.

By the numbers: Daniel Kilgore is the only question mark on offense, with every other member of the starting unit ranked good or better. In total, 70.1 percent of their starters on both sides of the ball are ranked good or better. Rookie Jimmie Ward and center Kilgore are question marks, but there is no projected starter who grades out below average.

Are they confirming that Kap has a ton of great talent around him? Heh.

I get the frustration but Cam had no numbers last year because of our anemic offense. His stats were between mediocre and poor. Im not saying I don't think he will be great but not until our offense matures.

So what you're saying is that Tom Brady, Russell Wilson, Andrew Luck, and Colin Kaepernick all had mediocre/poor seasons last year? Because Cam Newton was superior to every single one of them statistically last season. Keep drinking the anti-Shula/PFF Kool-Aid. PFF ranked all of them ahead of Cam.

Newton- 62% Cmp, 3,964 Yd, 30 TD, 14 turnovers

Brady- 60% Cmp, 4,361 Yd, 25 TD, 14 turnovers

Wilson- 63% Cmp, 3,896 Yd, 27 TD, 14 turnovers

Luck- 60% Cmp, 4,199 Yd, 27 TD, 11 turnovers

Kaepernick- 58% Cmp, 3,721 Yd, 25 TD, 12 turnovers

PFF Ranking-

Newton- Good Starter

Brady- High Quality Starter

Wilson- High Quality Starter/Elite Starter

Luck- Good Starter/High Quality Starter

Kaepernick- Good Starter/High Quality Starter

I did not compare him to anyone nor did I mention Shula you dolt. I said he had mediocre stats.

i.e

Yards per game 28th

Completion percentage 16th

TDS 12th

QB rating 16th

Ints 12th worst

Not sure how that is difficult to comprehend.

The funny thing is that Cam was Good Starter/High Qaulity Starter a couple of months ago.
