NFL.com's World Cup-NFL team comparisons

Some of the other comparisons were good but comparing the Panthers to the USMNT?   Disagree.  They're more like the Minnesota Vikings if you ask me.  A team that has never won a championship that is sometimes a good team but most of the time they're just mediocre and have one really good player with a couple other decent ones but mostly they aren't very good.

Bad analogy to begin with.

But Panthers more like Portugal or Italy then US.

Panthers can win it all IF things go right and same can be said for Port/Ital.

Both are known for defense and built around 1 superstar player (Cam-Robaldo/Balotelli)on offense that is surrounded by decent players but also players that need to step up to win it all.

Bradley is a below average talent at best. It's clear the Donovan was the motor behind this team in the last World Cup and I highly doubt there is anyone capable of replacing him this time around.

lol you have never watched a USMNT match in your life

Anybody that knows soccer knows that Michael Bradley is by FAR the best player on the US team. Not even close... Tim Howard is a great keeper and Clint Dempsey is serviceable but plays about as much defense as Carmelo Anthony.

BTW, Landon Donavon may be the most overrated player in US soccer history. Kind of glad he didn't make the 23.

If I had to compare the Panthers to an international soccer team, it would be Netherlands... Van Persie and Robin = Cam and Luke spot on.
