One thing to say...more confident in team after watching several practices

So here goes......for the poor souls that can't or haven't made it to practice....they look good.

1. The receiving Corp is good and will improve with each rep. KB is the real deal.....the vets are all performing well....this group will be

BETTER then last years group ...no doubt.

2. The TE's are looking good.....both Dickson and Willams are playing well.....and Brockel also having a good camp.

3. DLo running well and Tolbert stll smashing it....Reeves looks like a find also.. Stout and strong. Seen Fozzy twice so hard to tell. Stewart still riding.

4.The secondary will also be better (believe if or not)....we have PLAY MAKERS so not to worry...with the front seven they will make plays.

5. The Oline will be better with our two guards playing well..Chandler is also stepping up,and our center Is one of the best...we will see about the right side

6 .Pilares will probably be the KR again..unless some one steps up....PR is up in the air..maybe Fozzy ...we will see.

So over all...the team looks solid except for two areas...these can be addressed with a gem or two after team cuts.

Every other team has improved but so have we......without breaking the bank while doing it. Just an observation from a camp rat.

Hell yeah. Improving without breaking the bank. Still need to prove it in the pre and reg season, but I REALLY like what Gettleman has done personell wise this off season.

Was I all about blind faith or did I perhaps have a grip with what gettleman was doing?

Thanks Jmac

dont you understand Huddler?! youre drinking the team/homer cool-aid. the members of the media are the gods of the nfl. they know all and they say that the panthers shall suck this season and that gettleman is incompetent.

you shall be chastised for your insolence to believe in this team

People mistake me for thinking everything the FO is doing is perfect. Usually if I have a negative about the team I keep it to myself. Sometimes I might agree with someone but I might ask them questions and challenge them if I think they are short sighted

He was also giving MAJOR sarcasm to the media, and not just on your post and optimism.

    • Didn't  see this posted (since 2023) but since folks have been posting that you can't judge a draft class for three years (a ridiculous take), I thought I'd post this to see what people thought about the 2023 draft. Unfortunately this may not be the most interesting class to do this with but I do quite like retrospective draft grades. Would appreciate other's takes on this (and other recent) draft classes.   1(1) - Bryce Young QB: I am a bigger Bryce Young apologist than most (maybe all). I like the kid. But there is no way around it: This was a terrible pick. If he had been picked in the 4th or even the 3rd round I would feel pretty good about it. But this was the first overall pick that we gave up two firsts, our best offensive player to get.  GRADE: C -    2(39) - Jonathan Mingo WR: not much to say here here. He was here for two years. His yards per catch are on par with Bryce's yards per pass. Rough stuff. To date he has still never scored a touchdown in the NFL GRADE: F   3(80) - DJ Johnson OLB: a pick I hated as soon as it happened and an example of why the premise of this thread is honestly dumb. This was a bad pick when it happened. Most people knew it.  Then came training camp and he did not look good. Then came the preseason which confirmed what we saw in TC. Then came the season which confirmed what we saw in preseason. To date, he has half a sack in his career. GRADE: F 4 (114) Chandlers Zavala G: Honestly the best pick of this draft which really speaks to how awful this draft is. Other than Bryce, the only pick still on the team. He is mostly average or below average depth which in round 4 is not terrible. But he had a pff score of 43.5 and though I think people have unrealistic expectations for draft picks, I still would want a little more from a fourth round pick GRADE: C+   5 (145) - Jammie Robinson S: I liked the pick when it happened but ended up being a disappointment. He logged 1 tackle with the falcons last year and not enough snaps to get a grade on PFF.  GRADE: F OVERALL DRAFT GRADE: F
