Cam makes nice with Peter King

I have no idea why he approached him. Cam gains absolutely nothing by doing so

This just proves Cam is growing up. Why hold a grudge against someone for the rest of your life because they wronged you? It is petty and negative. If more people were this way the world would be a much better place but sadly alot of the world just goes back and forth killing each other with missiles because no one is willing to be the bigger man.

Something like this is as close as you're going to get to "nice" from a blowhard like Peter King. You want to talk about maturity? King didn't approach Cam to hash this out like men. It went the other way around. That shows you who would have been content to let this kind of beef simmer for eternity. I'm glad we've got a QB that's a good leader and a good person willing to make his own decisions and not do what his "handlers" think is appropriate.

Haha! Well, he was kind of being honest tho. Cam was pretty bad with his attitude after loses. No matter how mad or frustrated you are, as an NFL player, you cant react that way. The media is looking for a reason to throw you under the bus. Cam has learned that now. So King was accurate in saying that. But you are right, he could have just not mentioned it. Lol!

I am still waiting for King to say the same about Brady or anyone of the more chosen QBs whose attitude stink after a game they have lost. heck...I am waiting for anyone of the RG !!! butt kissers to admit he was more of a baby his sophomore season than Cam.

Cam is despised by the egomaniacs who find it easy to hate him because he is so damn good.

i'll take it step further. How about Brady's coach belichiek(however you spell it). I've seen worst from him at the podium after a loss.

I have said it from day one, the endless scrutiny and attack against Cam was orchestrated by those i the media who felt the need to teach him a lesson, while appeasing their egos.

What has Cam done to King? it was King who sold him out and helped to undermine him as he pretended to like him.

If we all sat and scrutinized everyone of the QBs like the media has done to Cam, u will be surprised at what u would realize.

But I dont look at it as holding a grudge. Cam dont have to say anything to anybody if he dont want to, especially to him of all people. It doesnt make him look better or worse to talk to him, and honestly I doubt it even changes king opinion of him. Let something happened tonight, he'll be throwing shots tomorrow

I don't believe King saw there being anything to 'hash out'.

In his mind, he gave his opinion, he was right, and if you didn't like it, too bad.

To be fair, that's a lot of people, but that doesn't make King less of a prick.

Cam may have forgiven him, but I have not.  I had to change my porn stage name because of him.  I had a matching crown set and everything.

Honestly, I don't regard Peter King highly enough to hold a grudge against him.

He was wrong.  He's an ass.  Big deal.  There's a million other guys I could say those two things about.

I don't consider him a 'special ass'.

So much anus hurt in here it's not funny.

I took it as him being extremely impressed and humbled by Cams maturity. It really paints Cam in a great light as to his willingness to be his own man despite his influences and possible pride.

Glad Cam is the Panthers QB, he's just great.

    • I think where they would be picked if redrafted before both classes have played enough football to really tell.  Baker literally looked like a washout with us after Cleveland gave up on him, then turned world beater with the Rams, got a prove it deal with the Bucs and has looked awesome ever since. Asking where Ward would’ve went had he went in ‘24 is just stupid.  I’m no GM, but I wouldn’t have taken Williams #1 either.  I would’ve taken Joe Milton way higher than he went.  I think Shadeur should’ve been a first round pick this year.  Point being, opinions are like buttholes, everybody has one.  It’s my opinion that Ward has that “something special.”  I get that feeling that he’ll be an even better pro than he was a collegiate QB because of whatever that quality is.  I think he’s gonna surprise a lot of people, especially being such an under appreciated first overall pick.
    • Where do we get our T-shirts and hats? Pretty sure this is the first championship ever in professional basketball or football in Charlotte!
    • Nice turnaround for Kon.  I’m still a little worried about his ability to create for himself and others, but it was SL.  Come regular season, he will playing a much different role and shots will be there for him.  He showed some reason for hope - and not just him, but the whole squad.  I suppose for the first time ever, we have drafted and acquired enough young talent that we actually not only competed for once, but won the whole thing in summer league.     Kon, Simpson, and Sims made all the difference.  Almost every year prior I felt we always struggled because we usually didn’t have a floor general/real PG to get us into offense.  This was such a breath of fresh air.  And look at us!  We finally are champions!😂
