The Carolina Panthers will alternate between their white and blue jerseys over the first seven weeks of the season, beginning with their traditional white jerseys-white pants look for the preseason opener Friday versus the Buffalo Bills at Bank of America Stadium.

They'll open the regular season in their alternate blue jerseys at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on September 7.

The Panthers will break out their black jerseys for the final five home games of the year, but when or if they'll be paired with black pants as opposed to the traditional black-and-silver look is to be determined.

One thing that every jersey color will feature this season is the Panthers' commemorative 20th season patch.

"The patches look good," Miles said. "I just got the jerseys in, and they look really nice. I've been here for all 20 of them, so it has sentimental value."

what is there to think about?

"should we roll out the most badass jerseys ever released in the NFL?"

"hmmm..  let me think about it.."

    • I'm more impressed with the UDFA that the guys they have drafted in the first the last 2 years. A whole lot of prove it is still needed before any improvement should be talked about seriously.
    • Sure.    ignore that he said this roster wasn’t good in 2023 to 2024 but keep up the effort
    • While I don't believe its a must win, (we have been better on the road this post season) it is definitely A NEED TO WIN the longer this series goes the more pronounced the Canes advantage on rest and health will be! If we hold serve at home in games 1 and 2 guaranteeing a 6 game minimum series for them if we lose the road games..... by the game 4 and 5 I expect them to be beat they have played A LOT OF HOCKEY the last three years, they have MINIMAL rest off a more physical than one might have expected series vs the leafs.... you know Tampa took their pound of flesh in round 1 from them. Combine all that with the fact that even though this year's canes squad isn't as talented as last years this IS a better squad than the one they swept last time that had McKenzie Mckeathern on line 1 Turbo with a broken hand a banged uo and eventually concussed Slavin (and even though it was a sweep 6 OTS and 4 1 goal losses is hardly dominant)  This year Bob hasn't been superman (hes probably gonna still have a great save percentage agiast us just a side effect of our style) Thatchuk is maybe 50% (3 game winners agiast us) their defense no longer has Gudas and several other downgrades.  While the Canes have a healthy and performing Svechnikov along with other big guys to counteract florida like Carrier, Jankowski, Robinson.   I by know means think it will happen but I either see this as a low scoring dog fight or a series were the canes surprise and end up dominating.
