I think Panthro's 30-45 prep time estimate is more realistic than a 10 minute prep time. Getting everything out of the fridge, organized, unwrapped, pre-heating the oven, washing your hands like 10 times while handling raw meat, chopping onions, peppers, etc., mixing everything together, moving it to the pan, prepping the side dishes while washing your hands again so as not to cross contaminate, then you have clean up. That poo takes time.

He's got to make that homemade CATSUP.  That's what takes so long.  We just sqeeze some Hunt's on that bitch and let it ride.  Before someone says eww Hunt's why don't you use Heinz, you need to GTFO.

Well, what do you put on top?

 

marinara

 

my meat loafs typically have beef, bread crumbs, egg, pepper, onion, lots of garlic, lots of basil.  A little oregano and salt.  Marinara sauce and some extra garlic on top.

 

It only takes 10 minutes, but I don't count the time I let the meat sit on the counter to warm up.
