Before this season even starts, I have one thing I want to convey to my fellow huddlers. If you're going to be here during the good times, be here twice as much during the hard times.

True fans do this by not cannibalizing their own.

And every true fan knows what I mean by this.

The only gifts I receive are always Panthers related and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I've been going to games since Death Valley and i don't plan on stopping until that bitch ass reaper comes a rap tap tappin on my chamber door.

I've learned there are going to be naysayers no matter what happens, just roll with it and realize you can't control what other people think. I've always been the only Panther fan amongst my friends and taken crap since I was a kid. Just be the best fan you can be and fug the ones who aren't! Keep pounding

I know exactly how you feel. We were doing icebreakers in class the other day and I asked the class if anyone liked the Panthers. Not one person raised their hand. Not one.

      I honestly don't know that I agree with the notion that Freeling is a project. He's a 2-year starter on one of the best teams in the country and has consistently played against top competition. I'm sure there will be a learning curve, but I don't think he's just some athlete that has to be built from the ground up.

      Bryce is at absolutely most generous a D- considering the overall investment of the #1 overall pick and the trade to acquire it. Zavala is the only clear passing grade in the class. C+ seems about right to me. Not a great pick but also not a bad pick in the 4th round. If you can consistently add serviceable depth in the 4th and 5th rounds you're building out your roster on the cheap and that's what you have to do in the mid to late rounds. Well managed teams consistently find roster caliber players in those rounds. Starters and stars are obviously nice to have but once you get past round 3 serviceable depth is a passing grade.
