He actually played. It was on our first kickoff of the first game of the season that he hurt himself. No the very first play though as the Giants kicked off first. 

 

And the kick was not even good (probably due to the injury, but still) landing at the 10 (with the old rules).

Not much, relatively speaking. Saw a short article written by Vinny Cerrato saying rookies make $850 a week and vets $1600 a week during camp, though room, board, and food are all provided as well.
