Bersin would be the odd man out. I would be surprised if we cut a kid that has worked his way up to a roster spot for a guy who was cut from one.

Bersin has showed steady improvement and hasn't yet plateaud. That is why he is on the team. I'm going to go ahead and trust Proehl's judgment here over Internet GMs . Call me crazy.

I think this has more turned into a theoretical exercise in who would be cut if we brought in a receiver. I don't think many people care about Stephen Hill beyond the OP.

People are way too high on Bersin. Just be happy he's made the 53 man roster for the moment.

 

I see it as him playing counter-part to Kelvin. Philly for speed. A&C flying under the radar with small gains. Cam really has a loaded gun with the TE's counted in, this season.

 

I don't see Bersin coming into a full swing until October or after that stretch but I believe he will come into his own.

I agree that I think we will see more from the tightends this year. I have no idea what the rest of the receiving core will give us besides Benjamin, who looks like a player.

Let it go, people! Hill is a fugging scrub. For all the measurables he possesses, Stephen can't catch and lacks the instincts and IQ to stay in the NFL. You guys can continue to blame Geno and The Jets but this bum dropped passes left and right, failed to get separation, couldn't finish a route to save his life and lacked mental fortitude.

Just stop with the pathetic "He wasn't in a good offense" argument. He was given every opportunity to succeed and each time he blew it. No amount of time with Proehl will fix Hill.

 

I used to say this very stuff until I actually looked at some vids and stats last year.  The Jets offense just sucked period. I am not going to put that all on Hill

 

Hill dropped ONE catchable pass last year.

Even in the unlikely event our front office wants him..  I just don't see him dropping down to #28.   I think other teams are licking their chops at the chance to work with this kid,  to try and turn him around.
