Possible, but why walk to the field in full pads just to leave?

 

That's what makes no sense.

 

 

Could be number of different reasons.  Ultimately it's all just speculation.  Just trying to be positive, no sense in assuming the worst until you know.

This is why I hate twitter.  People feel a rain drop and suddenly the sky is falling and everyone starts to speculate and panic and it spreads like wildfire. 

 

Easy answer is that his son was scheduled for something but would be in a waiting for who knows how long.  He went to practice.  Wife called when it was time to do whatever.  Maybe a doctor they would meet with was fitting them in that week and called saying he had an opening that afternoon.  Any number of perfectly plausible reasons why he'd leave practice quickly that don't involve a worst case scenerio.
