RB Situation

I'm most concerned about Jonathan Stewart. He's looked good enough receiving, but he's been way too inconsistent rushing.

 

Not sure what games your watching but he's earned every yard he's gotten. He's been hit in the backfield on more than half of his runs. Our run blocking was atrocious today.

Why would we bring up anyone? There will not be a roster spot to be on the active roster once Deangelo is back.

Because we have typically used that many.

Are you watching the games or just reading box scores? Do you see him having to shrug guys off behind the line on nearly every carry? The run blocking was just horrible today. Stewart ran his ass off just to get the yards he did.

Not gonna knock the run game so far. We've faced Pro Bowl DTs in back-to-back weeks, and they get paid too. Plus working in a rookie RG and rotating Velasco with him. Sure I'd like more yardage from Stewie and Beerkeg today, but not gonna sweat it yet. Lookin' at the bigger picture right now.

I am watching the games. The blocking has been sufficient in both games, it's been a combination of poor running and bad play-calling. I cannot excuse a 2.4 YPC average.

Holy poo, you're a moron.

We've had sufficient pass protection, not run blocking. When your running back is hit a nanosecond after getting the handoff, that's NOT good blocking.

God forbid I suggest Jonathan Stewart shares some blame for averaging 2.4 yards per carry. If this was DeAngelo Williams you'd be calling for his head.
