If Hardy is found Innocent we really need to reconsider letting him go

Hardy would have had to be double teamed on the end..not Star..so to say Hardy would not have soldified the run game last night is short sighted.

The Wes Horton, Addison, Ealy trio struggles with the run and it allowed the Steelers to execute their run blocks without having to adjust for the DEs..even CJ overpursued for a safety on one of those where he is normally a solid run defender.

Unfortunately CJ does not seem like he commands a double team lately.

the title of thread and content of OP is confusing.

Sorry. As reported in the All-Pro section, the general sense throughout the organization seems to be that there's almost no chance Hardy is back next year regardless of what happens with his case. I'm just saying that better not be the case (or stay the case if it was the case) because we need him.

Right now, yes.  Next year?  Probably, but not certainly.  Ealy could develop, well he will to an extent and maybe Alexander gets better.  Best case scenario is Hardy comes back this year and we are in playoff contention.

I am all for Hardy staying if he is found innocent.  I do not know him and maybe the comparison is wrong, but Smitty was kept around after sucker punching teammates in the face.  Now I think he was married and more a family man than Hardy, but maybe he will not be as stupid after he gets through this.  If they can give Smitty a second and third chance, do not see why they cant with Hardy.  Of course as long as the reason why the felt it was right for Smitty is there for Hardy.

    • The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.
    • I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.
    • lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
