So we're 2-1 tied for first place, I'll take it, Steelers had a long week to prepare for us and rest while we had to deal with the whole hardy drama and the mass injuries. We played the worst possible football we could and it was only a 10 point game until brown botched the punt. This is a major wake up call that we needed similar to the saints game on primetime last year and the cards game. Hopefully most people will be healthy for sunday and we can leave Baltimore with a W. Oh and what smitty said was disrespectful and you better believe were gonna take it personal and bust some ass.

now we are back to the underdog role, our team seems to perform better that way anyways. huge game @BAL though.

If we're gonna get a wake up call, it might as well be early in the season against a non-divisional, non-conference opponent.

And if the prime time factor makes other teams overlook us, then so be it. We play better with a chip on our collective shoulders.

It's not over certainly, but we can't look past our problems this game. We need Hardy to be found innocent so we can get him back for December. He is the 2nd most essential piece in our defense.

Injuries are starting to pile up. That is a concern. Hope Thomas is ok, sounds like he pulled a hammy. Cam can't escape the rush and won't give up on plays. 

 

But the biggest disappointment for me tonight is the lack of mental toughness. They had ample opportunities to fight their way back and they failed at every crossroad.

We never fuging stay healthy after a winning season. It's more frustrating to me than the result tonight. In a 16-game season, everybody's gonna get stomped a couple times.

we arent tied for first place. Falcons have taken the divison by virtue of their 2-0 division record to our 1-0... tied overall record sure. but we effectively gave up the division lead last night. only way we regain it is to win and hope for a falcon's loss. could happen... they play Pittsburgh next week. maybe Pitt can do to them what they did to us. that would certainly make me feel better...
