As bad as last night was

The Panthers were still only down 23-13 with about 10 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, and about to gain possession after a Pittsburgh punt.  Of course that is when Philly Brown went undrafted rookie and Josh Norman went Josh Norman.

But still, after a game where just about everything that could go wrong went wrong, it was still only a TD and FG seperating the teams near the end.

Errbody chill. The team will look at the tape and correct what needs to be fixed.

Yeah I was feelin comeback until Philly botched it. After dropping the punt he should've just fell on it. Tried to do too much and gave them possession and 7. Feel terribly for him after having done so well in the receiving game. He'll move past it and I don't know about you guys but I clearly see that Philly has a future here in Charlotte or atleast here in the league.

How the hell was that Norman's fault?? As soon as he went to scoop the ball up a LB hit his legs running at full speed.

It's really that easy for yall to hate on Norman huh?

He should have fallen on it, not tried to scoop up a ball inside his own five yard line.

Norman is probably used to fumble drills as a CB (scoop and score) instead of ST where it shouldn't happen.

I know it's easy to pick on Norman because of his bonehead mistakes in the past.. But I don't see how you can blame Norman for any of that.

    • Just worry about it next year.  Its that simple honestly.  its way to early to do what ifs.  I could see us trade/cut chuba and retain dowdle, I could see them let dowdle walk and go with Chuba/Etienne and Brooks, and I could see Dowdle and Chuba both stay and see what happens.  Hell, we still have 6 games left THIS season plus possible post-season...what if Rico or Chuba have an ACL tear or severe injury.  I DO NOT want that to happen, but stuff like that does happen.  Remember RB is the most injury prone position in the NFL due to the beating their bodies take so having some extra guys is never bad, just wish it hadn't come at the cost we paid to get him.
    • I think it’s cool that no one can be really certain what the outcome will be.  That’s a lot of progress! This is a real opportunity for us, I’d be happy with a competitive game and thrilled if we sack up for a W.
    • I could never found out who did the first surgery. That failed.      Nor who did the recent one.    Yiu can’t count on anything involving him. If it happens it’s a windfall at this point.
