  1. 1. Should the Panthers sit an injured Cam and go with DA?

    • Yes - sit Cam to allow him to heal

    • No - play Cam even if he's dinged up

    • Maybe - play Cam but only if we bring back the QB runs

You are not a Panther fan if you don't want the franchise QB who is not even on the injury report to not start.

He still gives us the best chance to win. The doctors will assess the risk and tell the coaches whether he should play or not.

Our QB not being on the injury report? Sounds like RGKnee when he was playing last season.

If your gonna say something at least make some sense.

The Doctors talk to the coaches from the medical perspective. Its the coaches job to take that advise into consideration but in the end it is Rivera's decision.

In the end, I agree with you, Cam is our franchise QB, DA isn't close to as good as a healthy Cam. My fear is that he will not be able to use his legs when we need him too later in the season to get in and through the playoffs. Especially with the o-line as terrible as it is playing now, doctors are not considering this but Rivera better if he knows what is good for him. Cam has been sacked 7 times in the past two games, not to mention how many times he has been hit.

im confused.... So are you saying Cams rating is overrated? or DA is the better option?lol...... cause im sure if his rating was like 60 somethin it would be held against him..,...definitley dont need statistics to tell you Cam is the best option....

I'm saying stats can say whatever you want them to say. In the end, you need to watch what the player was able to achieve on the field to help put your team into position to score.

We should just sit him the next 4 years and draft o line with the #1 overall pick and then play him because we are scared he might get hurt.

If he was in any type of long term danger the doctors would say he can not or should not play. Otherwise he belongs on the field

Him hurting a bit still gives us a better chance to win than DA.

Now your just throwing words into my mouth that i have never stated.

Really Cam is in no risk right now? You want to put money on it?

Cam isn't running now

And his play as a pocket passer looks stronger than any other start of a season. The passing game isn't a problem. Pass protection could be better but Cam passing is the only thing we are actually doing well

It seems to me the harder Cam throws the more accurate he is.

His ankle is fine, his ribs are sore. But he will be fine. Don't want to play hurt don't play football.

I agree with you, every player that ever played a game of football must be sore unless he sat the bench. The forces involved in the sport makes this a certainty. At what point from soreness and bruises to injury to broken bones does a player become a detriment to the team?

I admit the last game has really weighed heavily on this opinion, Cam was in too many dangerous plays compared to most games he has ever played. If Cam gonna hold onto the ball like he does without a run game and the o-line playing like they never seen one another, he is gonna need some prayers.

QBs get hit sometimes.  He isn't on injury report, he is franchise QB, he should play.

What do you say to Thomas Davis battling just to get back on the field when the coach says, "Yeah you can play but this guy who isn't even on injury report can't because we fear for his safety, but don't really care about yours.  Besides, Cam is special to us you aren't"

Should we sit our starting RBs too?  I mean two of them got hurt last weekend.  We have a bad o-line.  Don't want them to get hurt.  Better not play them.

It is football.  He took a shot or two from Suh and shrugged it off, I think he can manage

    • https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/47371200/sources-rams-fire-special-teams-coordinator-chase-blackburn LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Rams have fired special teams coordinator Chase Blackburn, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. The move marks the first in-season coaching change that Rams head coach Sean McVay has made in his nine seasons in Los Angeles. Rams assistant special teams coach Ben Kotwica will take over and become the lead special teams coach, a source told Schefter. The Rams, 11-4 and second place in the NFC West, lost to the Seahawks on Thursday night in a game that included a Seattle punt return for a touchdown and a missed 48-yard field goal by Los Angeles kicker Harrison Mevis. The Seahawks (12-3) overtook the Rams for first place in the division and the top overall record in the NFC thanks to the 38-37 overtime victory. Though the Rams have lost only four games this season, three have involved special teams miscues. In the Rams' first loss of the season, 33-26 to the Eagles, Los Angeles had its final two offensive possessions end with blocked kicks. In the Rams' Week 10 victory over the Saints, kicker Joshua Karty missed an extra point and a 39-yard field goal attempt. After the game, McVay said the Rams' special teams issues "can't continue like this." Los Angeles replaced long-snapper Alex Ward with Jake McQuaide and Karty with Mevis, who had not missed a kick until Thursday night in Seattle. Blackburn, 42, was in his third season as the Rams' special teams coordinator. A former linebacker for the Giants and Panthers, he also has worked as an assistant with Carolina and Tennessee.
    • It was a bad play from Icky but the OL didn't give up a sack until late in the 4th quarter and Bryce just stood there like he was canatonic. If our 3rd year number one overall pick can't overcome one single sack against a rebuilding Saints team that should only have 2 wins this season then it isn't ever going to happen   This is your quote. I mean I’ve quoted it twice. It was followed by calling people that defended him fugers and several other meltdowns I can also quote.    Shame you for working for a living??? Wow this is a whole new level to your victim mentality thing you like to do. You don’t have to watch games live. Or don’t spend an entire thread arguing about something you didn’t get the full picture of. I miss parts of games all the time. That’s just life. Not even going into the whole losing all respect thing.
    • Rams ended up firing ST coach and former Panthers coach Chase Blackburn after the loss. Sounds all too familiar.
