Lost all faith in mgmt of this team

To me it is ONE reason. Smitty, KB, Olsen and Avant/Cochery is an amazing WR core that would certainly be better than what we have. It was a mistake to let him walk IMO as he is still an amazing receiver that could make a real difference on this team. Def not the sole solution to all of our probs for sure.

 

Letting 89 go still despite his performance isn't why we suck. Our recieving threats are improved overall.

It is everything else that is the issue

But you keep 89 and our WR corp wouldn't have he same players....they were brought in bc of 89 leaving.

Point remains, our recieving targets arent an issue and we improved from last year.

Everyone wants to focus on 89. Him being gone didnt set us back. We suck bc of everything else. We built a team with a horrible OL, no traditional rush and a D built to only function under the most perfect condition (front 7 playing all season)

Talking about 89 ignores everything right and writ in Carolina IMO

Like I said in another thread, DG has to make moves to restore faith. Whether that's trading for a tackle or safety or firing Shula and promoting Ramsdell because we aren't doing anything as is.

Oooooweeee I would hate to be gettleman right now. He has to be looking like the biggest joke in the league right now. Despite his draft picks.

He might be a joke.....not bc of 89 though

Bc since he arrived he preached OL allowed you to compete and then built the league's saddest OL. He then built a D that required perfect health up front to work.

So DG certainly can be knocked. Not for 89 though

Scapegoating does nothing for me.

DG went into this season with this OL and D. Nothing going down is a surprise.

He bet on Cam being Superman and the front having back to back seasons where everyone stayed healthy all season. You don't get that lucky in the NFL outside of one season. He isn't building compete teams on either side of the ball.

Shula isn't good. But if you hire Shula and give him a horrible OL from day 1.....that isn't a Shula issue that is a GM setting everyone up to fail. Shula does what Shula does.
