It seems unlikely Hardy is going to be here next year. If he's found innocent it's a possibility, but odds are he's done as a Panther. Charles Johnson has played awful this season. Kony Ealy hasn't looked very good, but needs time to develop.

 

We all know how important the pass rush is to our defense. Considering we could be out both our DE's next offseason (if CJ is cut, as his performance so far makes a strong possibility regardless of his cap number) what do we do long-term at DE?

CJ looks done. Unless he's nursing something a lot more serious than a hamstring, he's not looking like someone we can count on long-term.

Our Oline looks done. Unless they all nursing injuries a lot more serious than we thought. They not looking like the Oline we can count on long-term.

We just pushed more money down the road on CJ's contract. We can't cut him. For all the flack Hurney gets for the DeAngelo and Stew contracts (well deserved flack I might add), CJ's contract is about to be a bigger anchor around our neck if he doesn't step it up. Honestly, if this is the best he's got he shouldnt be on the field right now. He's been terrible.
