lol, fire Gettleman?  Why?  No I mean, a real good reason why....please...anyone?  Anyone?  Bueller?  Fire him because the offensive line isn't performing as he had hoped?  Right.

I'll let Gettleman clean up Hurney's mess before I pass judgement.

The TL;DR makes it more enjoyable, I think.

That's the thing even with the length I WAS going to read it.

But if you're starting the novel off with one of the worst view points the masses have... unless there is a twist in the plot not point in reading since I was just not going to agree at all.

Gettleman helped form what was looking like a poo team early last year that transitioned into a decent but ultimately flawed team.  Right now we are still a flawed team and until we can shed the previous bad contracts and have at least another draft that is going to continue.  Sit back and enjoy the ride. The season isn't over yet.  We have a lot of football left to watch and until we are eliminated we might just get some lucky bounces.

It's not really the flawed team that I don't really like (other than a few decisions which are ridiculous to me, like keeping Shula), it's the handling of the Steve Smith situation and the handling of the Hardy situation. Both were just, I dunno, so bungled, that's it's hard to take the guy seriously.

That, on top of the fact that Smitty was just like, "LOL SALT IN THE WOUND" doesn't help, either.

Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Drew Brees, & even the new golden boy Andrew Luck have all played behind terrible lines in their career.

This "Dave doesn't like Cam" nonsense needs to die, or be killed. The VERY first thing Dave said at his introduction conference was the #1 thing a team needs is a QB & how Carolina had a very good QB. He lit up like a kid in a candy store & talked about how lucky he was & that he walked into a gold mine with Cam & Carolina.

That is a lot of words about panic and I hate Gettleman for not making the Oline magically appear while doing a juggling act restructuring Hurney extentions.

It is just unrealistic and in this you need to offer the solution you think will "reset" this.

Hardy's issue is the destabilizing team killer. He acted selfishly unguarded and put his career at risk. His suspension coupled with a 75% CJ has been horrendous on the defense and stressing the other guys with double teams.

Frank Alexander is a moron and blew his chance to establish himself for weed. He will eventually be promoted to NFL spectator soon enough. He is part of this domino effect.

So yes I wish there was a "reset button" but to only start a new reality like a SIMs game...Gettleman has been more answer than problem although the Smitty thing coupled with the signing of a crappy player like Roman Harper is my only red flag during his tenure IMO.

McD is the best D coordinator we ever had..Rivera not far from best coach. So I do not see why we are in need of halting what is here bc as we saw last year..it can be really good.

....Now Mike Shula on the other hand.......he can go..
