Cason/White/Godfrey isnt absolute trash at CB.. put Norman in the rotation and it doesnt improve by leaps and bounds

Bene and Norman is our best corners right now

Our defense didn't start bringing the hammer last week until White came in for Norman.  Godfrey filled in decently for Bene.  Norman is not our best corner.  He looked like a bum last week and has looked like a bum every time he has gotten major playing time.  White has had two bad games from last year to this year and was the only secondary player to keep his head in the playoff game.  This Norman fetish has to go.

Are you kidding?

Norman was great at run support.

He was in or around every play.

It's clear Rivera has lot of respect for Bengals OC Hue Jackson. Despite injuries, Rivera says Jackson can get creative, exploit weaknesses.

And this is why we should have hired hue Jackson as our OC rather than promoting Shula who is the opposite of creative.

No I'm not kidding.  He wasn't great in run support as the only play he tried to make he nearly broke his shoulder and left the game concussed.  He got beat more than a few times highlighted blatantly by the catch from Alshon Jeffrey where he got beat while stile interfering with Jeffrey.  Being around the play doesn't amount to everything.  He was around the play on third down when Jeffrey beat him over the top.  Funny that the pass and run defense got better when he went out.

Norman played well for the small amount time he was in the game last week. Take your hate and toss it out with the rest of your trash, its getting tired.

If getting burnt repeatedly and not filling in on the run is playing well then maybe football is played differently nowadays.  He made one play and that was the one where he almost broke his shoulder and knocked himself out of the game.  White has played better in his short time and made plays that they were angry about the week before.  At the end of the game he played the ball and got a knock down.  Norman couldn't check Jeffrey.  The love affair with this defensive David Gettis still baffles me.  If you are responding to me, quote me cause I can take it.

Melvin White, is that you?

I thought this was a team game. The team just played better in the second half.

What happened in the Pitt and Baltimore game when White started? Exactly.....

You do know that Jeffrey got most of his 97 yards after Norman was gone right?  You do realize that White and Godfrey were demoted for some of the exact same thing that you're trying to attribute to Norman, right?  Moreover, Rivera didn't particularly care for David Gettis from what I remember, so the Norman comparison is not exactly on point.  Norman was starting for a reason, and adequately doing his job when he left the game.
