Gameday Menu

Recommended Posts

It is with a heavy heart that I report to you today that "Trestle Tavern" the dive bar I've been getting my gameday wings from for 3 years has closed it's doors for good. I am very sad and sending me nudes won't help ease the pain. However this isn't about me this is about the Huddle so I will push on.

I'm thinking about trying out a new place for wings tomorrow and I'm going with the old classic medium hot flavor. Wash it down with an ice cold Amstel and some Skoal Citrus for desert.

Lets hear it gentlemen! Show me what you're working with!

make your own - bake'em, fry'em or grill'em.............. they'll be better anyway.

Today I'm going with beef nachos and potato skins...........cold beer and a nice "victory scotch" later this afternoon.

How do you make your bloodys?

If I'm too lazy I go Zing-Zang, celery and lemon.

If im ambitious:

Rimmed glass with Celery Salt/Cayenne Mix

Clamato

Worcesterchire

Jane's Crazy Mixed Up Salt

Horseradish

2 shots of Kettle 1.

Lemon/Lime/Celery as garnish

About the same recipe. I add beef bouillon. The powdered kind. Mix with a splash of water. Adds some depth of flavor. I like the rimmed glass! I will add that. No cayenne. I use Tabasco. Black pepper. Celery and olives garnish. Pepperoni if I have it. I usually stay with Smirnoff. What is Jane's crazy salt?

Tons of salts/spices/seasonings.

You can get a years worth at World Market for $9.00. I strayed from the olives and I have no idea why.

I guess bloodys don't need K1, but I always b-line to it at the ABC.

If it weren't for blue laws, I'd go stack the cabinet right now.
