E:60 piece on Cam

Not sure if serious, but I will forever and always want a guy that wants to play with the big boys. This book has MANY more chapters to read yet.

I wasn't playing. And when you said that you want a guy that wants to play with the big boys, you must be talking about Luck.

Yeah, they guy that went back to school and didn't even win a conference title. The guy that's never won anything! In fact, his alma mater has won back to back conference titles AFTER he left!!!!!

Yeah, because college success determines who is a better NFL QB. Come on now. Luck is on pace to break Peyton Manning's season passing record IN ONLY HIS 3RD YEAR, he has taken his team to the playoffs every year he has been in the NFL, and is only getting better. Give me that guy anyday of the week over a streaky, inconsistent, showboaty QB.

Funny, cuz the tone was very different in Luck's first two games when... you know... he played playoff caliber teams?

Funny, I could have sworn he still threw for 370 yards against the Broncos and had 3 TD's against Eagles? Also, I could have sworn that he beat the Ravens, Bengals, and also went off on the Steeleres that are all playoff caliber teams, compiling 1056 yards and 6 TD's against them. IDK, maybe I am confusing him with somebody else.

Funny, cuz he was throwing into double coverage and missing wide open receivers. You can suck on his junk but until he actually wins a playoff game (Chiefs don't count) his stats don't mean poo to me. Matt Ryan has posted insane numbers himself. Is he elite? Lulz.

Burn Cam all you want but you'll never see him throw 7 interceptions in back to back games. I'll take his overthrows over Luck's decision making AND gunslingy mentality.

lol You crack me up. How you going to discount his playoff win and then say he hasn't won a playoff game yet. That's just ignorant. And Cam hasn't won anything either. He rode our defense into the playoffs and nobody can deny that. Luck has actually carried his team all of his years and is only getting better. Cam is regressing, which is horrible because he is already an average passer. I sure hope you're right about Cam and we can turn this thing around, but I am content that this is what Cam will always be. A QB that will put up some good games, but overall, will always be an inconsistent and streaky QB.

There are many differences between Newtons situation and Lucks

Put Andrew in the Panthers organization and you will immediately understand it was not just about his 4th year at Stanford

Look at coaching staffs, start there..the offensive coordinator at the time was Bruce Aryians. Who was the Panthers, go from there

wanting something that is never going to be is ridiculous. Newton does, and will do, many good things in this community and on the field and if he does not, then many will get their wish

Sadly, there are individuals who would like nothing more than to see that happen.

It's always been this story with Newton as our QB. When he plays great, those "fans" say nothing, literally, they hardly even post. But if he has a bad game or two though? They are all out in droves ready to thump their chest and claim how right they were about him being a bust.

We go through this every season.

I haven't seen the E:60 on Cam yet. Hopefully it will show up online so I can viewed. To chime in on the Luck vs Cam topic, I am not sure how true this is but Luck did not want to go to Carolina according to a few rumors hence him staying in school. With that being said, I don't want anyone on our team who didn't even want to get drafted by us. It is rumors so I really can't put too much stock in that statement.  I just feel Luck was put in a better situation than Cam. Both QBs will be good for a very long time but they are in two different situations.  Does Cam need to work on his overthrows and touch? Yes he does but this team needs to build around Cam if he is going to be our franchise QB. Give him a line and more playmakers. Also, an OC that is not conservative. I am tired of us playing so conservative. We need to put up TDs. Pretty much our coaches have turned Cam into a game manager.

Kinda funny how he took over a team that was Manning's and had been trained by Manning. Just saying its not like that team was not a playoff team to begin with. They also have the luxury of playing the Jags and Titans twice a year.
