Hornets Vs Hawks Game Thread

The great thing about this is, we are still not playing our best...  We're not playing cohesively yet for a full 48 minutes.

The games we have pulled out this year signify great things ahead for our team because they certainly don't lack for mental toughness and intestinal fortitude, lol.

I think the bitching is Cliff calling for Kemba to take the final shot EVERY opportunity. I didn't see anyone saying he played badly.

Kemba got doubled on his first game winner because there was no other option on the inbounds. It was a low low low % shot.

Then on his 2nd chance everyone cleared out for him and he had no passing options if his man guarded him well.

The problem isn't Kemba per se but we need plays with options. It was Kemba or nothing on those two plays and that is frustrating.

He had some great give and gos with Big Al but he wasn't getting good looks at the end of the game.

It will always be hard for Kemba to get good looks. That's why most don't like him. They respect him but know he has limitations that will likely lead to him not being a Championship core piece

    • We dont know how anyone feels about going forward with bryce, nobody has asked anyone the question.  We do know through actions that there is no fuging way Canales overly trusts him behind center.  I dont know after 30+ games how the hell you couldnt have a concrete opinion by now. Ellis was all over fnz and twitter today screaming about "letting it play out".  What the fug is 5 games going to show you after all we have seen?  Everyone but a few on here rightly, thought he had turned the proverbial corner last year.  It was clearly smoke and mirrors.   He could win out and they still have to bring in competition, you simply cannot risk it again him being dogshit to start the year and then when he levels out its the classic sub 200 games. I half assed looked for the quote from whatever writer (maybe it was on a podcast) about how after the atl game running it back was a real possibility with Dalton and bryce.  There is simply no way that could possibly happen.  No way.  Thats some playground poo.
