Anyone Else Catch The Aftermath Of The Ninth Sack?

Im not too sure he ignores everyone, but I think he is frustrated. Players are consistently chopping at his legs, ribs, and head and our Tackles seem content on letting guys fly by them and missing assignments. I only watched 1 and half quarters of that garbage and Bell blew 7 plays in that time 7! How can you not be frustrated with that. I understand our tackles are not great but blowing assignments is not talent its work ethic. They should know how to block in our system by now.

Of course it was Byron Bell's fault per usual... Cam turned over, looked up in disbelief, and here comes Byron jogging over with his hand extended to help Cam up lol... How nice of him... So Cam turns back around towards the linesman and tosses him the ball and gets up himself, leaving Byron to walk back to the huddle himself.

I knew he would get tired of that crap eventually.

Also of note, Gruden said Cam wasn't talking to anyone between plays or doing anything other than calling the play in the huddle... Pretty indicative of how he feels about his horrible "supporting cast."

Additionally, all of the post game shows I've watched, every former player and Daniel Jeremiah, a former scout, said Cam has no help and can't be evaluated fairly because he doesn't have anything to work with.

I just thought him turning down Bell's hand up was very telling of where our team is. I would love it if Cam would come out and rip our coaches and FO a new one, but alas, he can't.

I do not know if you are talking about the same sack, but one towards the end of the game that was Bell's fault what I saw was him not even reaching out a hand to help Cam up off the ground.  All I saw was him just turning around and walking to the sideline.   That told me a lot.  Usually the OL will help his QB up off the ground.

What another waste of  season.

Rivera doesn't "blame them for sucking".

He defends them for "doing the best they can".

And that's a big reason, arguably the biggest reason, why we are where we are now.

He also takes the fire out of a team. He wants them to be as stoic as he is. That's why our team plays flat and why players show no passion.

I get it but he shouldn't have done that.

Before I get flamed I know he's taking an absolute beating so I get it. This season is officially over

No, I completely agree. Just more ammo for the media......and well, everyone else to attack Cam's character. He does have a right to be mad, but it was handled wrong. What do you want Bell to say. Uh, coach......I suck......so you shouldnt play me......

I actually think Bell's work ethic is fine.

It's his field vision, reaction speed and ability to read where pressure is coming from that suck.

I can agree with that. I still watched him run up field on a stretch play completely missing his man while Stewart had to try to shake off a DE that was not having it. Other times the DE just blew by him and if not for Stewart Newton would have been on IR.
