Win..... and you're IN

the delusion is real

We have a week off and then a Vikings team with a weak D and a frail 21 year old rookie QB with no weapons or protection. We also get the Bucs at BOA. Our two arch rivals have tougher schedules. Doesn't make us good but it's the truth.

WInning out hurts us more than it helps us. We win out, we get our ass whooped on national TV again, we get a worse draft pick, and worst of all, this coaching staff will be retained. Not worth it.

Unfortunately, this.

Sometimes you have to get worse in order to get better.  I fear we're at that point.

How awesome would it be to have a win in Cam's hometown and you are in the playoffs scenario, Cam and the team would be BALLIN OUT we gotta start winning NOW though, the NFC South is shaky as hell, the Saints and Falcons could both lose this week. Right back in the drivers seat. Cam is going to be pretty healthy after this Bye I feel like, close to 100% even

Hosting the NFCCG with a losing record would be AWESOME and it's possible.

If we win out in the NFC South, one of  the weakest divisions in years, maybe ever, we will actually be hurting ourselves badly,in the long run.

We would be exposed again on national tv and most certainly lose the first playoff game, thereby picking around 21st in the draft, missing out on a top LT.

That sceniro would be bad enough, but it gets worse, because we would probably retain Rivera and perhaps Shula for another year and be subjected to their inept schemes and play calling.

    • I don’t go back and look at the espn but there live it definitely said 1 shot 1 goal when it happened. I guess they had not added them yet. Still allowing goals that early is rough. Blue line is a total disaster still. Even with Slavin back. Miller and Nikishin keep making mistakes after mistakes.
    • I generally disagree with the concept of picking a position because of value early in the draft. For instance, if there's a really good safety, RB or ILB at pick 10, I'm choosing him over a project WR or DE. Better players make the team better. A bunch of ok players will give you an ok team. The number 1 goal of the draft should be to improve the overall talent on the team. Not to fill positions of need.  Deciding beforehand that you're picking a LT in the first or second round because Ickey went down is not the way to improve the team. Now if Dan has similar grades on 2 or 3 players and one happens to be a LT, then yeah go for it. But don't pass on your guy at ILB because you have a gap at LT or need to improve the pass rush with a DE. When those guys don't pan out then you haven't improved your team. But that LB could have been a franchise cornerstone for years to come. See Luke Kuechly and Christian McCaffrey.
    • Thank God we are inthe NFC South--
