Sweet. I tried it, turned my speakers all the way up. I heard nothing. A coworker in her early 20s immediately asks "What's that noise?"

I still hear it at age 27. I used to call it the "TV sound." Because it's the sound a CRT TV would make when it was on. My mom and teachers were always shocked that I could tell the TV was on even when the screen was black.

 

But I've always been protective of my hearing. My iPod ear buds were always at about 10-15%, while all the other people my age, I could hear what they were listening to over their ear buds.

I take it back..  First time i listen to it on my iphone wearing headset and I heard nothing.  Now, I listen to it on laptop with regular sound on and this sound is fuging annoying.  I could clearly hear it.
