I doubt it. We still have an open roster spot and cutting him frees up nothing cap wise. If we were going to cut him, we already would have.

He was. He will have to sit out 13 nore games and then the next 11 he won't be paid for, even though he'll be eligible to play.

Going to be interesting to see how he fits in upon his return. I was excited to see his progress coming off the injury...now, I feel like he'll be an afterthought until his contract is up/released/traded/whatever...

Seriously. Then again Silver had a front row seat to "what not to do" and his memo covered all the bases.

He explains the different committees the NBA has to handle these cases, the experts that were consulted, and of course his own morality. It's all very well thought out and thorough.

He even got the punishment assessment right, counting the games already served while making sure the league gets their 24 game checks.

No doubt the league is in great hands right now.

If the Rice incident never happened Taylor would've been suspended the first 3 or 5 games and nobody would've blinked an eye. It would've been briefly mentioned on ESPN once or twice but that's it. Since it did happen, Taylor was suspended nearly a 1/3 of the season and it's a headline on ESPN.

Don't act like Silver and the NBA are moral saints or geniuses. It's like your friend failing a test then giving you the answer sheet. Would've been pretty hard for them to screw this up.
