olsen will be retained. his circumstances differ greatly from steve smith's, both in production, ceiling, age, and personality.

 

TD will more than likely sign a cap-friendly extension.

TD hasn't been the same Pro Bowl player he was last season, but he is ABSOLUTELY still a great player that you would be foolish to get rid of.

No worries we will load up on CFL and arena league players to go along with the hit and miss draft picks and flops who want to revitalize their careers.

Panthers may not attract any key players or be enticing to the key players currently here, but stick with project Gettleman and we will be fine.

Having gotten that out of the way, as long as Greg is productive we have to keep him here.  We've gotten a bit of a deal with him over the last few years but guys of his caliber don't become available through free agency and drafting is always a crap shoot so we need to man up and pay to keep him, assuming he wants to stay.

That play and hit he mad on Hester against the Falcons was awesome.  At first I did not know who it was, but all I saw was some guy come out of nowhere and blast him.  Of course when they showed the replay on the big screen, I saw it was Davis.

yep $2 million per year.  it might be worth it to restructure and push some of that 2015 cap hit off on the later years because they're relatively cheap.

Davis will restructure. He feels the organization has been too good to him for him not to return the favor.

He already took a pay hit when he had his third surgery. At this point he probably deserves a little more. He doesn't want to leave Carolina, though.

the back end of his contract is cheap and gettleman could probably add a million per year to those numbers with no real issues by doing the common base salary/bonus conversion thing
