regardless of the outcome of this game, Rivera needs to be fired tomorrow.

Rivera just doesn't have the mental capacity to be a head coach. He is just a coordinator, its been obvious for quite some time. I like Ron, tried to show him some love but... It's just done. Makes no use of by weeks, questionable clock management, to passive aggressive, he just has to go, but he probably wont.

He was retained before Gettleman was ever hired.

Firing him after a 12-4 season would have been silly.

I'm not referring to after a 12-4 season, scot, and I dont think you're that naive.

If we want to get really technical, Rivera shouldve been fired before Gettleman ever came on. If we're being completely honest from there, if he wasn't fired before Gettleman, he shouldve been fired by Gettleman once he came on. And from what I recall, Gettleman was supposedly given the option to evaluate and dump Rivera once he was hired, and ultimately he chose to stick with him but did not give him much of a vote of confidence going forward. So Gettleman was apparently given the option, that is if we believe JR didn't interfere... But I'm sure he did because he did t want to pay two coaches if Rivera was fired.

Once we kept him and he accidentally went 12-4 because he was coaching as a completely different person due to being scared shitless, then we had every game since out last win to make the same decision.

Point is, considering all that already happened to get us to this season, Rivera shouldve been fired long before this week.

Good luck using logic with some people when it comes to Gettleman.

Let me know how that works out for you.

You aren't going to simply absolve Gettleman of responsibility here are you?

Our entire staff right now is responsible for putting a plate with nothing more than a steaming pile of sh*t in front of fans week in and week out while expecting them to gladly give thanks simply because we have a team. Gettleman is the general manager, yes, he receives blame too.

He wont be.

to many excuses from oline , to the hardy bs which is really when team went downhill not because of hardy but the way it was handled , to the blow up the wr. You all expect the panthers to win with this much crap going on. Knew game was going be bad on 1st drive that 3rd down play where cam took the sack instead of the dump to olsen and olsen look like he was clapping.

A decision everyone agreed with in context.

Rivera only made the changes and took on his Riverboat persona because his job was literally on the line.

Now we see him right back to his conservative style when the heat is off.

We should have given him one more season to prove that 2013 was not a fluke, simple as that.

Gettleman needs to be re-evaluated for gutting this team......any genius could see Rivera struggled to coach this team when we were full of talent going 6-10 and 7-9, no o line and placing all our chips in a rookie wr that we're lucky came out as beast is unacceptable regardless what mess hurney left then the unforgivable singing of trash Harper throw in the messy smith release as well
