No one has mentioned Bryce Drew either. and what of Ricky Davis? You can still find him on playgrounds intentionally missing to get rebounds.

I don't know if people forget because of Eddie Jones or what, but I know I just forgot too... Eddie Johnson.

I think it was 1993/1994, one of our injury ravaged years. Eddie Johnson was just a third shooting guard / small forward not expected to do much. Then the injuries started. He put up 30 a few times early on. Then sometime in January he caught fire. He had a month long stretch were he averaged 24 points a game. IIRC, he had the Hornets' first ever 4 point play.

And Ricky Pierce....dont forget the backcourt of Mugsey5'3 and Michael Adams 5'8 lol...when Allen Bristow plays small ball it is SMALL Ball.. Also having Dell, Eddie Johnson and Ricky Pierce on the floor was some interesting offense...but definitely no D.

Brickkowski was also unstoppable in the post.

How about the second stint with Kendall Gill where he would again play the point but post up and do a baseline spin for an amazing dunk every game.

For the Kids: Kendall Gill was the first Charlotte athlete to force his way out of charlotte bc Zo took 30 shots a game and made Gill the third wheel on offense(which he should be)

I loved it when we had the Supersonics castoffs...Sidney Green even making 12 foot jumpers on occasion.

I honestly do not Remember Ricky Pierce playing in Charlotte. Yes Bristow went small. Didn't 6'3 Hersey Hawkins start at power forward for a bit when LJ was out?

All I remember about Sidney Green is that he would grab every single rebound when he was on the court.

Remember Kendall Gill's first game in Charlotte after being traded? Every time he touched the ball the Coliseum would erupt in boos.

I wish BOA had even a tenth of the energy the Hive had from 1991-1995

    • Kalkbrenner and Sion James received regular contracts and not two ways, so the Hornets have some work to do to cut the roster size down.
    • Gustavsson would be insane. I think we would have to break the bank to afford that move. Which, I don't think is necessarily a bad idea. Ultimately, Freddie isn't likely to be around more than a couple of seasons more. We can all agree that unless they have a fleet of sports psychologists working on Kochetkov, he will never be capable of getting his head on straight enough to compete.
    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
