I agree.. Please tell me that isnt his full throwing motion... Its like he doesnt step into his throws at all. The only one that looked half way normal was the last throw on the video, and even that didnt looked suspect.

Looked like there wasn't quite as much zip on his ball as normal, or maybe I'm just imagining it.  I wouldn't doubt it though, with a lower back fracture that probably limits the torque he can put into his throws.

Isn't this the first time he has practiced since the accident? Also, keyword here being "practice".

 

There may be a bit of over-analyzing going on here....

 

Regardless, I don't think he absolutely has to play versus Cleveland, DA can handle it. But if the doctors clear him, let him play.

Bill Voth with BBR made a point to say that Cam wouldn't take a painkiller to practice or play. What I take from that is that what we see in that video is Cam Newton without a painkiller with his injury. Take that for what it's worth.

Yeah, definitely. RR says that they pushed him today to be able to see how his body would react tomorrow. That's smart so he can recover, tightness or soreness doesn't mean he can't go. You kind of expect him to be tight and sore if he hasn't practiced in a week or so.

Who knows.  My question was specifically injections.  I'm not sure if Cam's problem is with needles or medication in general.

True. That's what hasn't been made clear, and honestly, it's none of our business. It's his body and the guy doesn't owe me anything considering how he plays with reckless abandon for HIS body. No question of his "want-to" with me. 

 

Until Cam says (and I'm not saying that he should), "I don't like needles" or "I don't like the thought of 'medication' in me". This debate will continue...

Even if we don't make the playoffs I want us to finish strong with a 4 game winning streak and have a bunch of momentum going into next year.

2 of the last 3 seasons we've done that and it hasn't mattered.
