Some of the comments here remind me of how humans act to stock market swings............everyone can be counted on overreacting when things are good (Stew running now) and overreacting when things are bad (Dwill not looking so good).

 

The reality is if the Oline can do its job then even Gano can start as the RB and they will still move the chains in 3 downs........

 

Granted Stew can break tackles in the secondary that Dwill cannot.........but he may still bring a dimension to our run game at times we could leverage.

 

Williams has been on the decline for years.  You are acting like he woke up yesterday and looked average.

 

and no, any RB can't look good.  30 yr old Tolbert couldn't run pre OL change nor post OL change. 

 

Stewart can be stopped at the line of scrimmage and make a positive run....he did it pre OL change and post OL change.

 

What does Williams bring?  Fozzy brings more.  All Williams has is game reps....and DeCoud has those, Cason did to over young guys

I think Ron has finally realized who is "buttering his bread". Taking Stew out and inserting DLo as the starter would be like him asking to be fired. I have no problem with Stew getting breathers but that should be it.

I think Ron needs to simply not give Williams a jersey. I don't think our staff will give Williams the Fozzy treatment

I'm no fan of Williams especially when they try to run him up the middle............and I can't disagree with what you just posted but maybe they still see a place to leverage his skill sets..

Gano is wiry and all jacked up on caffeine. He would have at least 40 yards with no prep.

why are you guys worried. when double trouble was on point they both got plenty of touches and moved the ball. they feed off of other and the difference in styles keeps the defense off balance. I say run the poo out of both of them and keep cams legs fresh for next week.
