Rally Towels Don't Make Noise

I have run a few opposing team fans out of our section over the past few years.

Definitely agree. Every game I go to I take the folding part of the seat in front of me and make as much noise as I can with it.

Propose the "Rally Mallet".  It's be a wooden mallet designed for banging on the seat in front of you.

My wife got hit in the back of the head with a growl towel at the Steeler game when they were throwing them in the 4th quarter. I thought she was going to choke one of those mullet wearing green teeth mofo's.

Still debating because last years playoff game and tailgate was a blast. Flu got me good Christmas Day and been in the bed or couch until today. Feeling much better but drinking in the rain all day is probably asking for trouble.

What about blue and black "shakers" like college teams have? Auburn or S. Carolina with the two color ones it looks like an ant hill is kicked over when everyone gets them going. Leave the towels to Pittsburgh

Seat banging is by far the loudest thing we can do...I turn my program into a megaphone and yell through it at a steady tone while I bang the seat with the other hand...but if I really want to make some noise, I double bang.

Two hands, two seats. That's my style.

Seems that every time I bang my seat for noise the opposing team makes their 3rd down conversion. So I stopped doing it.

me too. i wave the rally towel, but i make as much fuggin noise as i can. one can still make noise with the seats while swinging the towel. but really... i only wave the towel when the opposing offense is facing my seat. its a visual distraction and therefore, does no good if the other team's offense is facing the other way haha. now noise on the other hand...

 

did that in a box 2 years ago and got some serious mean looks from supposed "panthers fans" ....

ive gotten plenty of mean looks myself up in the nosebleeds. but in defense of the people in box seats, there is a reason they are called suites. its meant to be a cozy atmosphere to just take in the game. besides, im pretty sure the sound that escapes those boxes is negligible compared to even the ambient noise of the stadium

seems apt. just as there are black panthers in the Carolina mountains, there are fire ants all over the Carolinas. this is another genius idea. i move to petition Richardson to make BOTH shakers and mallets for playoff games!

Towels are cheap and easy to print sponsor logos. That's really why they do it. Sponsor $$$$
