Because he totally didn't involve himself in an incident that could have been avoided

You do realize he didn't have a choice to go on the exempt list right? We couldn't cut him the tag money was guaranteed. Derp.

I understand, and I also understand he chose to associate himself with a bat poo crazy girl who had a history of this. Take himself out of that situation and none of this would have never happened

According to Schefner (sp?) That was the team pay for playoff games, and would be $44,000 next game, and could be $97,000 for super bowl. Some of these players have bonus structures for making playoffs etc but from what I'm guessing their contracts are for "regular season"
