BIllboard in Seattle after win

We should put one up in New Orleans that says...

"this billboard will be underwater soon"

I just HAVE to share this story...the most brutal burn I've ever heard.

The home opener in 2005 was against New Orleans...first game after Katrina. We still had a pretty decent amount of refugees here in Charlotte and they received tickets to that game. The pre-game ceremonies started out full of well wishes and all supportive stuff for those NO residents and fans. But in true New Orleans fashion, the became their arrogant and obnoxious as they went on to win the game.

As the fans were walking out of the stadium, there was a group of Saints fan who were giving the Panther fans a hard time (shocker). They kept screaming things, "Thanks for the tickets and the win!" and just rubbing it in. That is until one of the Saints fans "Y'all get on out of here and take it to the house! Take it the house Panther fans!"

Out of no where, this Panther fan that was behind me just yelled "At least my house isn't under 10 feet of water!"

That wasn't a burn. Just low class.

I was down in New Orleans for the cleanup with the military a few months after my first tour in Iraq, and I was listening to that game on the Radio... that loss sucked. I think the next week we beat New England.

While I was there, I felt like I was in a scene from 28 days later, and I am not at all shocked that that place has a huge crime rate. Those cops there have to be on the take. Talk about backwoods uneducated... it was hardly the United States.
