I made that thread about the Cam Newton press conference, because I thought the fans might like hearing what's coming from the other side.

 

They didn't like it.

 

Then I might have said that it seems like they prefer threads about uniforms, swagger, and nicknames to threads with actual information in them.

 

They didn't like that. :fpc:

 

Yeah, after I saw that they deleted your thread, I made a thread about the Panthers winning the best uniform contest.

 

It was quickly deleted :(

They'll just make excuses.

 

A guy over there actually tried to argue that Stewarts CAREER ypc advantage over Lynch was because he played in the NFCS.

 

They dumb.

It's still there, but the mods there are pretty strict about what goes in what forum.

I honestly don't know why Jase was banned, but I'm not a mod or anything, so I'm not privy to their thought process on that one.

I don't like comparing epeens in anything, but what you can say is that this is a great match up for the NFL.  This will be the ultimate defensive battle.  Both teams are playing extremely well coming into the game.  Both fan bases have a lot of confidence in a win.

 

Is it game day yet?

We have to stop their run game. It's pretty much that simple. Everything else is just numbers to make us feel good.

 

We have actually done a very good job slowing Lynch the three times we played them.

 

I really believe this one will come down to NOT turning the ball over....like the Rams did in Week 17.  The Seahawk defense has a knack for turning TO's into points.

Very good point. I'd say that about 75% of the time, the Seahawks score on the possession following a turnover (or sometimes on the return of the fumble or INT). Unfortunately for Seattle, their red zone offense has been subpar this year, and most of those scores end up being FGs.

 

But you can win a FG battle if you protect the ball and force the other guy to turn it over a few times.

      Great article on all the Lil Canes attending their debutantes ball. Walt with a great breakdown of all the rookies, as always, and I'm a huge fan of his team coverage, he is truly a treasure, but as a fan of mixed metaphors and superfluous language which some might ignorantly refer to as a "run-on sentence" I never really understood what that mean or where to put the comma after a quote in the middle of a sentence, but holy poo Walt, this is a gem, "While there's a long road left in front of them left to determine whether or not they'll have that same success on the blue line again, the beginning stretch of the journey has been thrown a wrench, and the story on defense has been the emergence of up-and-comers forced into becoming lineup regulars." , bravo, take a bow, sir!

      When the broadcast showed the two benches side by side during the last TV timeout, it was pretty obvious the whole operation is a shitshow. If I was the owner, I would play that clip, with commentary, on the jumbotron at MSG as I fired the coach, GM, President, the whole lot. Bring in your AHL leadership team, wholesale, to finish out the season and start from scratch next year.  Can't fire all the players and fold the season. But, hopefully decapitating the zombie will light a fire under the body and burn out the cancer of the roster. (It makes sense if you don't think about it...) There are obviously issues on the roster. But, you can't have the entire coaching staff completely tuned out with 5 minutes left in a 2 goal game this early in the season. And you can't trust the people that hired them to hire the next staff. If you trust your AHL GM/Scouts, let them run the deadline firesale.   ...     Please don't let the owner read any of this. Because, this poo is hilarous!
