Wilson isn't just good

Also lucky.

11 fumbles and none lost.

We all know balls will bounce for you and against you.....eventually lady luck is gonna disappear. She is fickle

I remember in Romo's first season as a starter, it seemed every fumble would give him the perfect bounce... until a certain playoff game on an Extra Point attempt ended that streak ;)

Exactly. Remember in our game against them this year when Cam and Stew botched the read option and fumbled and lost it. Well our o-line was so bad that the Seahawks d-line was already there to recover so we lost it. Then the EXACT SAME THING happened to Wilson and Lynch, but their o-line was good enough that he had about 3 seconds to fall on it before any of our guys were even close. If that random luck switched, we would've won that game. I hope we can just play well enough that we don't need to rely on luck this game.

lucky was the first word that popped into my head when i saw that title and i was REALLY hoping that was what was going to be said.

what i wasn't expecting, though, was that it was about the fumbles. that is surprising....well...not really surprising but that number of not lost fumbles is a bit on the high side.

i was more just thinking about the number of desperation throws on the run he makes to general areas that get caught.

Oh come on. Wilson is a baller. Is he a little lucky? Yep, but who cares? He still makes plays.

11 straight fumbles with none lost is an extremely lucky and simply odd stretch.....

And that is luck. 11 fumbles and it should of negatively impacted Seattle more so than it has.....ball always will eventually bounce unfavorably eventually.

That is all. He is a baller. One who has been very fortunate this year.....simply pointing out how extremely lucky he has been

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
